I hope you are all getting as excited as I am about our upcoming trip to France in September 2024. During our post days in Paris we will be staying in the 5th Arrondissement, better known as the Latin Quarter of the city. There are numerous sites to see within walking distance. Looking at the 2nd picture on the far right middle you see the Arenes de Lutece, our hotel has an entrance to that site. We are very close to the River Seine to cross over.

Where have you been? Where do you want to go? 17 out of 28 for me!

Today we returned to Gibraltar to visit the "Rock". Located in the Rock of Gibralter are a series of caves including St. Michaels and Cathedral cave. You enter thru St. Michaels and continue to Cathedral. Because of the excellent acoustics there is a Music Venue in Cathedral Cave with a concrete stage, lighting and seating for over 100 people, absolutely amazing. Living near and in the caves are the Barbary marquai, the only population of wild monkeys on the European continent. They are not to be messed with and won't pose for pictures!!

Our Story

Affordable Group Travel made easy!

Margies Miles is named for a real Margie, a woman who wanted so badly to travel but could not afford it and most of all, had a real fear of flying, my Mom.

My Dad was a locally well known singer in his time and cut several records. One of them was the following song....so I truly believe I got the "travel bug" from him!!

"Far Away Places"
