As of September 3rd, NCL is opening up sailings to everyone regardless of your vaccination status. I don't want this post to turn into a debate about Covid and Vaccines. It is merely to inform those of you with medical conditions (and couldn't get the vaccine) that the sea is yours, once again! I'm sure it's been a long 29 months! Are you ready to cruise? Think a destination on your bucket list is not a reality? Think again! Sometimes you just have to have a little flexibility! Before I offend anyone I want to say this is not a group trip I'm opening up to the public. Egypt has been number 1 on my bucket list since I was a kid. So the last thing I want to do is to organize, work and worry on this vacation! I do however want to share how inexpensive a dream vacation can be! Several friends and I are heading to Cairo, Luxor and a 4 night Nile River Cruise. Take a look at the basic costs...

*Flight from NYC w/ bags to Cairo $588
*Hotel overlooking the pyramids for 3 nights $200 (including airport pickup) Pyramid laser and light show on the rooftop patio included.
*A 4 Night cruise including all meals, a hot air balloon ride over the valley of the kings, guided tours to Aswan, Edfu and Luxor - $399 per person. (shuttle to and from the airport to the hotel and to the cruise included).
*Total entrance fees to all of the tours on the cruise.
*Round trip flights from Cairo to Luxor and *return) Aswan to Cairo w/ bags $160
*Private tour in Luxor $30
*Hotel in Luxor $50 per person.
and more (too much to list) Additional tours are more. Most entrance fees are just a few US dollars.
Total - $1512 per person for 8 nights 9 days! (10 total including travel)
100 Egyptian Pounds is worth about $5.20 American Dollars. So everything for Americans is extremely inexpensive. The average 3 course meal is about $10 for us.

I was just able to add 2 more balcony rooms and 2 inside cabins to our Mexican Riviera Cruise on NCL! Want to join us? We're sailing November 20-27th. That is Thanksgiving week.

Inside cabin Is $2713 for 2 people. So $1356 per person (plus change) That includes all taxes, port fees, gratuities for the wait staff, house keeping and even your bartenders. All meals are included plus 1 meal each in the specialty dining restaurants, the unlimited adult beverages package which includes many top shelf and craft beers and also a $100 on board credit per stateroom.

BALCONY is $3578 or $1789 per person and that would include everything listed for an inside cabin plus and additional meal per person in the specialty dining restaurant (so 2 meals each), $50 per port (per stateroom) toward shore excursions and 150 minutes each of wifi minutes.

Other rooms available are Studio cabins for solo travelers, Ocean view, club balcony suite, spa balcony, Haven.... You wouldn't get the onboard credit with the other rooms but you will get all of the perks.

If anyone is interested let me know and I will price them out for you. There's also a buy one flight get one free sale. Send me your preferred airport for the rate. The last time I checked it averaged about $250 per person from Albany.

I’m back and refreshed from an amazing time in Brazil! Need a vacation? I’m ready to help plan and book one for you. A simple overnight, weekend getaway, cruise, all-inclusive resort, family vacation, Disney, destination weddings, honeymoons… Searching can take a lot of time and effort. Many little things can be forgotten along the way. Let me take care of all of that for you!

Please note, I have changed my policy moving forward and will no longer be offering free services for booking flights alone. If you have already booked your hotel, cruise, resort…. and just need a flight I encourage you to try google flights. If you still need help I will be happy to help for a small fee. If you’re booking a vacation package (flight, hotel…) nothing will change. There is no fee. Again, this applies to flights alone. After you get back from a vacation it makes you realize how important relaxation and taking some time for yourself really is. Agents don’t receive a commission for flights. I have done this as a courtesy for people in the past hoping the next time they traveled they would come back and use my services. Since that is not happening and the same repeat offenders keep coming back for help with just flights, I will be charging a $50 search and booking fee moving forward. Thank You for understanding. If anyone has any concerns, complaints or issues with the new policy please give me a 10 minute warning so I can grab a drink and discuss this further with you! :)

I just saw a post in another group that blows my mind. Here is just one more example of why you should use a travel agent. The person had a cruise booked out of "Venice". When they got there the port they were sailing from was actually Trieste. Trieste is almost 2 hours away. They had no way of getting there and had to cancel their cruise. Civitavecchia is a port where you can do an excursion to Rome. Rome is an hour from there. Agents are not perfect and we sometimes make mistakes but we also have a lot of experience when it comes to most things. Don't be stranded because you wanted to do it on your own, ESPECIALLY when it's not going to cost you a dime to use our services! We don't upcharge and you don't pay so take advantage of our knowledge and the work that we do! This couples vacation is ruined and didn't have to be!
