‼️MISSING PERSON - Community Help Needed‼️

We need your help in locating missing 16-year-old Kiely Rodni who was last seen near the Prosser Family Campground, in Truckee. Kiely was at a party of more than 100 juveniles and young adults. She was last seen at the party on August 6th, 2022, at approximately 12:30 a.m. Kiely’s vehicle is also missing from the party — a silver 2013 Honda CRV with California license plate: “8YUR127”. Kiely’s phone has been out of service since the party.

Kiely is described as a Caucasian female, 5’7”, 115 pounds with blonde hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing green Dickies pants, a black tank top, numerous piercings and jewelry, including a nose ring.

If you have any information on Kiely’s location, please contact the Placer County Sheriff’s Office immediately: 530-886-5375.

Our trail crews have been busy this summer, and they’ve got some exciting news for you! They’re currently building out a new Gatorade Skills Zone at mid mountain for everyone looking to level up or even just practice those tricks and skills you may or may not have been sleeping on this season 💤 We’ll have a lot more info to share soon but wanted to give these teams in orange props where they’re due for quite literally building up the stoke. Keep an eye out for updates in the next week or so for the official opening of this zone 🙌

We are ending the year with over 10 feet of snow gleaming across North Lake Tahoe! Due to the weather conditions, the region is experiencing power outages and travel delays due to road closures. We encourage residents and travelers spending the weekend in North Lake Tahoe to stay up to date with current conditions and take safety precautions.

We've got powder, and tons of it! We've been digging out, but still have some room to go. Here's what you need to know:

❄️While we are making every effort to begin spinning lifts by 9am tomorrow, we anticipate some delays and limited terrain on parts of the mountain.

❄️Just like the mountain, our parking lots got a ton of powder. We are still clearing the snow, so morning parking may be limited to Village View and sections of Castle Peak, so plan ahead (and be safe on the roads!)

All this powder is waiting for you! Comstock Chair is now open along with 17 new runs on Comstock and Vista. We will begin loading Big Springs Gondola this morning at 8:30am and chair lifts at 9:00am. Our Mountain Ops team has been working around the clock to get as much terrain open as we safely can. Stay tuned as we open more terrain.
