Chain control is still in effect on I-80 over Donner Summit. If you’re planning to travel, make sure you’re prepared for winter driving!

We had multiple spin-outs and collisions last night due to slick conditions. Thankfully, no serious injuries resulted. But this is your reminder to:

❗ Slow down and drive to conditions
❗ Give yourself extra space
❗ Make sure your vehicle is winter equipped/prepped

We’re expecting more snow today through the weekend, so plan ahead, be prepared, and check road conditions before you go. Let’s keep it safe out there!

• I-80 eastbound is R2 from Nyack to Truckee.
• I-80 westbound is R2 from the Donner Lake Interchange to Nyack.
• SR-267 is R2 from Northstar to Kings Beach.
• SR-89 is R1 from Truckee to Olympic Valley.
• Trucks are at maximum restrictions.
