The main house is a charming, cozy home with a recent addition for more space and key amenities- a Master Bedroom suite, a cozy family room, a breakfast nook, and a utilities room with a full laundry. The second floor has two bedrooms and a shared bathroom with windows facing the historic gazebo. The home comes furnished with sheets, towels and pillows. Outside- the grounds provide a peaceful relaxing setting. If the Lakes are not keeping you cool enough, an inground pool is here for your swimming enjoyment (Closes last week of August). Tables, lawnchairs and gas BBQ grill are at your fingertips. Take a short hike in our woods to fill your jug with the purest spring water! The main house and cottage may be rented together; rates shown here are for the main house and grounds use only. However, the cottage may be rented at a sharp discount along with the main house, as we truly wish for our guests to enjoy the full intimacy the property offers- it is its true hallmark. Even if you don't need to sleep two more people, the cottage is useful as a poolhouse changing room, or for lawn picnic/event kitchenette convenience. Minimum stays may be negotiable depending on booking calendar; please call to inquire. Fall minimum stay is 3 nights. If the cottage is NOT rented with the main house, guests should be aware that it is possible that the pool area may be shared with cottage guests; driveway and parking do not need to be shared, however, as the cottage has private driveway access. Please call for seasonal weekly rates on the cottage. It is not generally rented by the night, or for less than three days. Special requests for reunions, events, weddings, or receptions on the grounds are negotiable with a full property rental fee (House plus cottage). Call for details. See More at:

This year it was time to replace the stone porch on the front of the house. This old stone porch brings back fond memories of me as a young girl who would sleep upon an old Army cot on hot summer nights to stay cool; back then this porch was surrounded by tall yew bushes and a majestic white lilac tree that would hide me as I slept with nature. On this new project I worked closely with Johnson Stoneworks to design a porch that would be mindful of the historical setting of the estate and yet bring curb appeal to our future guests. Rusty, was willing to use old pieces of flagstone from the old sidewalk that orginally led to the Main Street and yet blend in a few pieces of new stone necessary for replacing the steps. I think you will agree that this will be another favorite place for guests to relax and enjoy sipping on some of that wonderful Finger Lakes wine!

Mom always had the white urn in front of the Gazebo planted for Memorial Day. I chose snap dragons in soft pink and white to compliment the purple Alyssum spring plantings around the gazebo which is sprinkled with Lily of the Valley plants.

Does this look like fun times? Not a special event... just what goes on the wineries around the White Gazebo area of the Finger Lakes on any given night. And just look at the setting we have for these events!! In this case, a great band at Americana Winery last sunday, The Purple Valley... what are you waiting for, come and visit the Finger Lakes and see what all the fun here is about!!

Greetings, Buffalo Finger Lakes Wine Lovers! Have we got a place for you!! We would love to host you at our home which is just a couple of miles from the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail! We are minutes away from the Gorge-ous hiking trails at Taughannock Falls, New York. The Seneca Lake Wine trail is only 20 minutes away, too! Stay a week and do both!
