‼️Here is a break down‼️

▶️Effective Jan. 9, 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets. For other admission types, including non-dated tickets, theme park reservations may be required to help us continue managing attendance and delivering a great experience for everyone.

▶️ DISNEY DINING PLANS will be coming back as an option for those staying at Disney Resort hotels who purchase a vacation package starting with stays beginning Jan. 9, 2024. Guests will be able to choose from two popular options:

Even more news:
▶️ For those planning to stay at a Disney Resort hotel, early theme park entry for visits through 2024 will still be available. This great benefit gives Guests a jump start on their day. 📣Update to Disney Genie+ Service at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort!

🧞‍♂️At Walt Disney World Resort— Disney Genie+ will vary in price ranging from $15-$22 per guest, per day based on the date a guest is visiting. This is similar pricing for theme park tickets, throughout the year, prices may be lower on less busy days and higher during peak periods like Thanksgiving and Christmas.

❓How might date based pricing for Genie+ Service be beneficial at Walt Disney World? Variable pricing will hopefully mean that fewer people will decide to purchase Genie+ Service, allowing the system to work better for those that do purchase it at the new variable rates. Variable pricing has been used by Disney for a few options in the past and it has worked well at helping those things work more efficiently. That’s what I’m hoping for with Genie+!🤞🏼

🧞‍♂️At Disneyland Resort— Disney Genie+ will now be $25 per day when purchased in advance as an add-on with a new ticket or vacation packages. Single-day purchases for Disney Genie+ through the Disneyland app will begin at $25 per day, and may vary by date, based on demand.

For guests who have been waiting patiently for that special hug while they feast on delicious eats - they’re in luck! The time has come for even more character dining experiences to make their grand return!

Across Walt Disney World, some guest-favorite restaurants are gearing up to welcome favorite pals back, including Stitch for breakfast at ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Minnie and her friends for breakfast at Cape May Caféat Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and Winnie the Pooh and friends at The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom Park for both lunch and dinner.

Get ready for some hugs, laughs, and lasting memories because here are the places getting character dining back soon!

Let’s start with a trip to Magic Kingdom Park, where there are some special characters coming back for a friendship celebration nestled within Main Street, U.S.A. On September 20, some friends from the Hundred Acre Wood will be rejoining the celebratory feasting for lunch and dinner at The Crystal Palace: A Buffet with Characters featuring Winnie the Pooh and Friends. This greenhouse-inspired beauty is the perfect place to spend a day with some hugs and a feast, with options like Carved Prime Rib, Seasonal Ravioli, and Peel & Eat Shrimp.

At Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, get ready for some relaxing vibes and breakfast classics at the ‘Ohana Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch, coming back on September 27! Nothing beats getting some love from everyone’s favorite mischievous friend, Stitch, to start off the day. Get some hugs in, and enjoy tasty treats like the Pineapple Coconut Breakfast Bread and Mickey Waffles and sip on the iconic Lilikoi Juice and the yummy Moana Smoothie.

Over at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, find Cape May Café, a New-England inspired spot serving up some tasty eats in an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet! On October 4, the Cape May Café Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast will be making its exciting return. Have some fun with Disney friends and enjoy morning favorites at this feast, including the mouthwatering Salted Caramel “Beach Buns.” And what breakfast is complete without the famous Mickey and Minnie Waffles? For awhile, I haven’t promoted that I book and plan vacations to Disney, Universal, cruises, and all-inclusives on social media due to the pandemic and all of the restrictions surrounding travel. I have just continued to plan for many special families who have traveled with me in the past or been referred to me by those clients.

Since Disney shut its doors due to the pandemic in 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣, many people have said they want to go, but not until things are back to “normal”.

🎆 Fireworks are back! New shows at both Epcot (Harmonious) and Magic Kingdom (Enchantment) are showing nightly!

😷 Masks are optional for all guests in all locations, including, most recently, transportation!!! 🙌

🤗 Character meet and greets started making a phased return to pre-Covid standards beginning on April 18th. That means pictures, autographs, and HUGS!!!

🍴 Most dining options have reopened, including many character dining options!

🐉 Parades are back! Festival of Fantasy recently started again at Magic Kingdom- fire breathing dragon and all!!

🏨 As of March 31, EVERY Disney resort is open for the first time since March of 2020! That means more options for every budget!

🚨Update to Disney Genie+ Service 🚨

Between Feb. 25, 2022 – Aug. 7, 2022, the following attractions will be added to Disney Genie+ service*:

🧞‍♂️Magic Kingdom Park: Space Mountain

🧞‍♂️EPCOT: Frozen Ever After

🧞‍♂️Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway

During this time period, these attractions will not be available for purchase a la carte.

🗓Beginning Thursday, February 17, the following health and safety updates will be in place at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort:

😷Face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated Guests in both outdoor and indoor locations. Guests who are not fully vaccinated are expected to continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, including indoor attractions and theaters. Face coverings are still required by all Guests (ages 2 and up) on enclosed Disney transportation, including Disney buses, monorails, and Disney Skyliner.

Similarly, Universal Parks have updated their policies. See details in the image below!

➡️ Here are the details:

🧞‍♂️ Genie+ will be $15/person per day.
🧞‍♂️ Can be purchased ahead of time or on the same day as your visit.
🧞‍♂️ Book arrival times for 40+ attractions via the app, similar to the old fast pass.
🧞‍♂️ Booking begins at 7am on the day of your visit.
🧞‍♂️ Once you have redeemed your selection OR the arrival time has passed, you can make another selection.

⚡️ Lightning Lane is available for individual purchase.
⚡️ Includes two top-tier attractions per park (these are not included with Genie+).
⚡️ Prices will vary based on date and attraction.
⚡️ These can only be purchased on the same day as your visit.
⚡️ If staying in a Disney resort hotel (or other select resorts), selections can be made at 7am, all other guests must be inside the park to make their first selection.

Unfortunately, we are not out of the woods yet & COVID is still a very big threat to the world. As we continuously adapt to the health and safety guidelines based on the guidance and expertise from health and government officials, so is Disney.

Effective Friday, July 30, all guests & cast members, ages two & up, will be required to wear face coverings in all indoor locations at Walt Disney World Resort & Disneyland Resort, regardless of vaccination status. At Walt Disney World Resort, this includes upon entering & throughout all attractions & enclosed transportation vehicles, including shuttles, buses, monorails, & at Disney Skyliner.
