Time to meet ME for those of you who are new here. Hi to my pals, new and old! 👋 I’m Sarah but some know me as Space Mom that suits me well. I have been a Disney lover since early childhood and Mickey Mouse has been a good friend and comfort for as long as I can remember.

Planning All the Things is one of the great joys in my life (seriously) and planning Disney is the ultimate of all planning joys. Finding out that there are happy people in this world whose jobs it is to plan Disney for other people and that it doesn’t cost those people anything because Disney pays- that was an exciting day! I love planning Disney vacations with all my heart and there is no way in the world my family could go on enough trips to satisfy my heart so this new job is truly a dream come true.

Facts about me: I am a fan of both Star Wars and Disney, being equal parts Space and Mouse. I’m a cosplayer (swipe to see) and my favorite Star Wars characters are Hera (obviously), Din Djarin, Rey and Ahsoka. My favorite Disney characters are Mickey, Jasmine, Moana and Mary Poppins. And Peter Pan. And Donald Duck. And Snow White… I also love food, all things Italian, great movies, art, being quiet, being with my family, the ocean (it calls me…) and musical theatre.

We’ve got more free downloads! Building lightsabers together at Savi’s was such a special experience and one that we will remember forever but I’m not gonna lie- we spent a small fortune on that 20 minute project. It was worth it, of course it was! But the reality is that it’s expensive and not something that every family is going to budget for. Today’s download is a savings plan for kids (and adults!) who have their hearts set on Savi’s when it’s not in the vacation budget. Hey, Everyone! With all the new friends we’re making, I thought it was time to start getting to know each other and I’d like to kick off the meet and greets by introducing the fam since Space Mouse is very much a family passion.

We are the Polzin Family, known by our friends as Space Family, for our love of Star Wars and our connection to our Rebels cosplay.

As a family we share the dream of living for what we love and loving what we do. We are lifelong, interest-led homeschoolers and as parents have taught our kids to believe in themselves and to follow their hearts and somewhere along the way we started doing that with them.

In addition to loving all things Disney, Star Wars, cosplay and planning vacations (and parties and events and fully themed family movie nights!) we also love all forms of art, thrifting and vintage treasure hunting, theatre and our Tucson community. We like getting out into nature (while it’s not too hot) and spending time in the pool in the summer. We are homebodies and love spending time together. We are learning Italian and have a dream of one day living in Italy. We LOVE food. We believe that Black Lives Matter and in LGBTQ+ equality. We care deeply about mental health awareness. We are each other’s best friends and each member of the family brings something of themselves that makes Space Mouse what it is.
