The Boss! Sunday 13th October 2019 H1-3/S100 juntion
We arrived at sighting where we saw 3 lionesses and cubs scattered around. 1 Lioness crossed the road, possibly hunting but the others lazed around and cubs slowly moved closer getting various responses from the Mama's, mostly grumpy. I looked up and saw another lioness approaching (suspect the mommy we photographed in August with little cubs), as she got closer she gave one soft contact call and we were absolutely astounded at the reaction of the cubs. As one they stood up and started running towards her (I counted 12, but not sure how many) rubbed, and greeted this time with a lot of patience. Of course I had taken card out of video camera as pics can't even begin to do justice to the scene unfolding in front of us. Yes I know! I am soooo blessed to be able to share this with you all 👊
