I just wrote an article on a place I’ve been dying to revisit, the Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson. It’s been too many years since I’ve been and they’ve got several new additions to their prestigious collection. More than 400 aircraft fill 6 hangars and are spread across 80 acres. It feels like you’re walking among the clouds surrounded by all these metal birds. So many amazing stories told, so much craftsmanship and technological advancement on display. In the article, I describe several recent additions and give you the scoop on the brand-new affiliated museum that will soon open. The foundation that operates Pima acquired adjacent acreage to create the Tucson Military Vehicle Museum that will be opening this spring or even sooner. It’s another impressive collection, and this one will offer drive and ride experiences. Here’s the article so you can get all the details. As for me, I hope to get to Pima in March when I’m in town for the Tucson Festival of Books.
