We’ve recently been made aware that there are several individuals going around Tucson area neighborhoods identifying themselves as employees of Vortex Electric LLC, trying to “sell” solar systems to homeowners claiming that TEP is going to come change out their power meter and install solar.

Vortex Electric DOES NOT DO DOOR TO DOOR SALES! We provide solar quotes for customers ONLY when they are requested by our customers.

If you or anyone you know has been approached by an individual claiming to work for us stating that they need you to leave your side gates open for TEP to access your meter, please file a report with the police or sheriffs department. Please file a notice with TEP.

Vortex Electric LLC is looking to hire electricians for Journeyman and Electricians Helpers positions in the Tucson AZ area. We service Tucson, Oro Valley, Marana, and surrounding areas.

Family owned and operated.

Licensed, Bonded, and Insured.

Qualified candidate should have experience in Residential, Commercial, and Solar. Solar not required, but a willingness to learn is a must.

We do residential service calls, upgrades, remodels, ground up builds. Small Commercial/Large Commercial TI, remodels, and ground up builds. Residential and Commercial Solar installs, repairs, removal, and reinstallation.

Experience Requirements:

Journeyman- at least 4+ provable years of experience and ability to run all aspects of projects from materials takeoffs to ordering.

Helper- no experience required. Experience in the construction industry a plus.

Must be able to climb ladders, work outside in the heat when necessary, be able to work in attics or small spaces, etc.

Must have your own basic electricians hand tools, reliable transportation, and be dependable. Must be able to communicate with fellow employees and supervisors.

Pay: DOE
