Since 2005 SLIK has been offering three week trips to Kenya where American students volunteer in the primary schools near the town of Naro Moru. With the guidance of Kenya teachers, the Americans learn how to write lesson plans and effectively pass on the information to classrooms full of excited young Kenyans.
