Not meant as a scare-factor post. This merely describes the difference between "trad" and "sport" climbing. The author details his mistakes and his approach to this climb which were/are avoidable. Posts like this are always meant to be educational and not sensational. We are currently doing a lot of sport climbing, as a means to become better for our outback trad climbing.
