We continue tonight with Symbology of Orixa Dance
Rhythm Industry Performance Factory
**6:30 - 8:00 PM** (one class).

Many thanks to everyone who made the transition from outside (thank you Many Mouths One Stomach for always making space, thank you Nadia) to inside at Movement Culture (thank you Besouro}.

***Tomorrow, Saturday the 18th, will be TWO classes.
430-6:00pm Drumming with Luciano - everyone welcome! We will work with samba afro, and also the samba de roda rhythm.

We will have Samba de Caboclo/Samba de Roda beginning at. 7:15 PM.
For Saturday's dance class - bring skirts typically used for samba de roda /or Cuban dance if you have, or a sarong. Not required but an option!

The first workshop begins next Tuesday at 5:45pm at Rhythm Industry Performance Factory !
Afro Brazilian Drumming with Luciano Xavier Da Silva - if you already play an instrument, please bring it and we'll have instruments as well. We highly encourage dancers and capoeiristas to come drum and make the connection to the musical conversation!
Right after drum class, we'll be ready for Rosangela Silvestre teaching Orixa Symbology with live drumming.
Every residency creates it's own magic and resonance because we choose to show up for it! We look forward to the creative container of next week!

This fall we are super excited to have three dance class collaborations planned with our long time mestra (and our group’s original dance director) Yarrow King! We all go waaaay back and it is a real joy to do classes together, full of good energy!
