The locals all speak Portuguese and most of them understand English without any problems.
🧳 BEST TIME TO VISIT
Lisbon is a year-around destination. So you can travel to this beautiful city everyone. I can recommend you to come to Lisbon in spring. The temperature is pleasant warm, the city is in bloom and there are not so many tourists.
🚶♀️WALKING TOUR
Take part in a walking tour. You'll get to know Lisbon very quickly and very well. Many tours are free, but the guides are happy to receive a few tips.
❌ SKIP THE ELEVATOR DE SANTA JUSTA
The elevator is kind of a touristic trap. You need to pay 5 euros for a 20 second ride up the hill. Additional the queue is insanely long so you have to wait for hours. You can reach the viewing platform on foot. If you want to take the lift, buy a day ticket for the metro. The lift is included.
