Me yesterday on hold with Disney for two hours trying to help my clients who are currently in Disney World figure out their options with a hurricane on it’s way 😜 I’m so thankful I was able to call for them and help them get some clarity so they didn’t have to worry about it and could enjoy their park day!

✨Foodie Friday: Roundup Rodeo BBQ✨

This restaurant is one of Disney World’s newest additions that opened up in March of 2023. While at this restaurant that is located in Hollywood Studios, you can rustle up some tasty BBQ fare at this western-themed restaurant where you’ll see the world through the eyes of Andy’s toys.

This is one of the restaurants that we are planning to book for our trip in November! Eliza-Grace is a BIG Toy Story fan so I know she is going to absolutely love it. Did I mention the servers freeze like toys every time they hear the words, “Andy’s coming”?? How fun is that! 💗

✨Thirller Thursday: This or That! ✨

I haven’t done a this or that in a while so I thought today we would do one with Disney World’s most patriotic shows: The Hall of Presidents and The American Adventure!

The Hall of Presidents, located in Magic Kingdom, is an Auto-Animatronic show that traces the history of the United States by showcasing all 45 of the men who have served as U.S. President.

The American Adventure, located in Epcot, is another Audio-Animatronic show that includes a film and music to help bring America's past to life. This 30-minute show is located at the American Adventure Pavilion in World Showcase.

While neither of these are one of WDW’s most popular attractions, I believe both of these are the perfect to fit into your day when you are hot and needing a break. Learn a little American history while taking a seat in the air conditioning during both of these shows.

Out of the two, I’d say The American Adventure is my favorite. It gets bonus points for having the Voices of Liberty as well 😉

I have recently booked this resort for THREE different families so I thought it was about time we talk about this amazing resort!

Disney’s Port Orleans-Riverside is a Moderate resort that will immerse you in the charming ambiance reminiscent of rural Louisiana, where romance fills the air! In addition, take a leisurely stroll along the banks of the Sassagoula River and you will find yourself at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter.

A few things to know about this resort:

✨Magical Monday: Arts and Crafts✨

Happy Monday, friends! 💗 Today I am continuing to share some of the FREE activities Walt Disney World Resorts offer to their guests!

Today we are talking about arts and crafts! With this activity, guests can unleash their creativity by attending arts and crafts classes that are unique to specific resorts. For example, guests can paint a masterpiece at Wild About Painting at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge or craft their own Disney-inspired artwork at the Spanish Mosaic Art class at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.

These hands-on activities allow guests to create tangible memories of their stay. To see what arts and crafts your family can take part in, simply ask a Cast Member for the weekly recreation calendar when you check into your resort at the beginning of your trip 😊

✨Foodie Friday: Gaston’s Tavern’s Warm Cinnamon Roll✨

Do you have a sweet tooth like me? If so, this cinnamon roll would be the perfect addition to your day spent in Magic Kingdom. Gaston’s Tavern is located in Fantasyland and offers numerous other snacks, entrees, and drinks.

✨Thriller Thursday: Finding Nemo: The Big Blue... and Beyond!✨

While this amazing show isn’t a ride by any means, I thought I would spend today’s Thriller Thursday talking about one of my favorite shows on Disney property.

Located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, this show allows you to dive into a spectacular stage show—filled with puppets, singers and other performers—set in the underwater world of Disney and Pixar’s Finding Nemo.

This 25 minute stage show is for all ages and is performed SIX times each day so it is easy to catch.

✨Where to Stay Wednesday: Disney’s Wilderness Lodge✨

Enjoy a more outdoorsy, mountainy feel while on vacation, even while staying on theme park property in Florida? If so, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is for you!

A few things about this resort:
✨Has King Bed rooms that sleep 2, Standard Rooms that sleep 4, and Grand Villas that can sleep up to 12!
✨Offers bus services as well as water services to get you to and from the parks and Disney Springs
✨Home to several popular table service meals, including Whispering Canyon Cafe
✨Offers free nightly campfires to all WDW guests that includes s’mores and a movie under the stars!

✨Travel Tip Tuesday: Dining Plans✨

One of the questions I get asked the most is if I think getting a dining plan is worth the cost. While the convenience of having all of your meals prepaid for is absolutely AMAZING, I don’t believe I can give the same answer to every family. I often say it really depends on your family, what TYPES of food you eat, as well as how MUCH you eat.

Think about the following:
✨Do you and your family like to eat table service meals? If you know regardless of whether you purchase the dining plan or not that you will want to eat a sit down meal every day where you order an entree and a dessert, then the dining plan may be a good idea.
✨Are you and your family “expensive” eaters? If you’re likely to order a steak or something more pricey as opposed to chicken tenders every meal, then the dining plan may be worth it for your family.
✨Will you and your family eat at nicer restaurants while on your trip, or will you stick to mostly buffets? If you will mostly stick to buffets, the dining plan may not be best for you.
✨Do you like to try new, fun, and pricier snacks, or do you think you’d rather use your snack credits on water bottles and a fruit cup? If you’re not going to spend your credits on expensive snacks, the dining plan may not be a good fit for your family.

When deciding on whether to purchase the dining plan or not, think about your family’s personal needs and habits. In order to get your money’s worth, you want to make sure you eat more expensive foods throughout the day; HOWEVER, you DO NOT want to order the most expensive thing on the menu just to feel like purchasing the dining plan was worth it. You have to make sure you enjoy what you are eating as well 😊

✨Magical Monday: Movies Under the Stars✨

Over the next few Mondays, I thought I would share some of the FREE activities Walt Disney World Resorts offer to their guests! While we often think of all of the activities we can do in the parks, we can easily forget all of the fun we can have during a restful day/evening spent at our resort!

One of my favorite activities is called Movies Under the Stars! Available at most resorts on property, this activity allows you to relax outside with your family, snuggle up on a blanket, and watch a Disney film. Each resort will have a sign posted about what movies are playing on which night and at what time!

✨Foodie Friday: Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera✨

Today I wanted to share about a restaurant that my family and I are hoping to snag reservations to on our next trip!

Located at Disney’s Riviera Resort, Topolino's Terrace offers 2 distinct dining experiences:
✨Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends
✨A Signature Dining experience at dinner, featuring elevated French- and Italian-inspired cuisine

What’s great about this restaurant is you can get two totally different experiences based on the time of day you go.
✨Want to keep things casual? Go at breakfast, grab some food from the buffet, and hang out with Mickey and his friends?
✨Want a more upscale feel? Go at dinner and savor exquisite French and Italian cuisine

One thing to note, if you are using the Disney Dining Plan, breakfast will use up one credit while dinner will use up two.

I am hoping we are able to snag reservations for breakfast on our next trip! I think my girls would absolutely love it.

✨Thriller Thursday: Avatar Flight of Passage✨

Today I want to talk about one of my absolute FAVORITE rides in all of Walt Disney World! If you are an Avatar fan (or not!) you and your family will love this immersive ride.

Located in Animal Kingdom, you will climb atop a winged mountain banshee for a breathtaking 3D flight over Pandora’s otherworldly landscape.

If you enjoy immersive rides, you are NOT going to want to miss this one. In addition, the entire Pandora area is simply breath taking.

Want to know something else special about this ride? Jared and I were able to snag Fast Passes (now called Lightning Lane) for Avatar Flight of Passage on OPENING DAY of Pandora in Animal Kingdom. People were waiting 4+ hours to ride. Meanwhile we had entered Pandora and rode Flight of Passage all within an hour. Talk about lucky!!

✨Where to Stay Wednesday: The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort! ✨

Did you know that Disney World doesn’t just offer basic hotel rooms when you stay on property? That’s right! Not only does Disney World have Grand Villas that sleep multiple people, but they have CABINS as well!

A little bit about these cabins:
✨Can sleep up to 6 adults
✨ Has a fully equipped kitchen
✨Located at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, so there are plenty of dining options
✨Offers bus and water taxis services to and from all 4 theme parks, both water parks, and Disney Springs
✨Has views of the woods to help you feel like you’re staying in the wilderness!

✨Travel Tip Tuesday: Airport Transportation✨

Are you flying instead of driving on your next WDW trip and don't know what type of transportation to go with to get you to and from the airport? You're in luck, I've got you covered!

When helping my clients who are flying plan their vacation, I like to go over the different airport transportation options they have to book. Here are your two best options:

✨Taking a charter bus

✨Renting private transportation

There are pros and cons to both of these! Let's go over them:

Charter Bus PROS:
✨Cheaper than private transportation options

Charter Bus CONS:
✨Makes multiple stops. For example, your bus could be scheduled to stop at 5 different resorts on Disney property. Your resort could be the first stop OR it could be the last. You’ll never know until you get on!

Private Transportation PROS:
✨Takes you straight to your resort with no extra stops
✨May allow you to pick up grocery orders on the way to your resort
✨Has car seat options if you are traveling with little ones

Private Transportation CONS:
✨More expensive than charter busses

In my opinion, private transportation is a better option, especially if you’re traveling with little ones! Being able to go straight to your resort from the airport is a big plus. We used a charter bus on our last trip and while nothing was necessarily wrong, the girls had the opportunity to get fidgety while we stopped at other resorts.

Regardless of what type of airport transportation you decide to go with, I have recommendations on who to go through!

✨For charter busses, I recommend Mears Coach Connect. You can book a ride on their website, which is https://www.mearsconnect.com/

✨For a private option, I recommend Ride to the Magic! Book your ride on their website as well, which is https://www.ridetothemagic.com/
