Everyone’s New Year’s resolution is to slow down when driving…right?

Whether you’re into New Year's resolutions or not, let’s prioritize people when we’re out on the roads this year. This means putting your phone down when driving, avoiding distractions, and, yes, slowing down on the road. We all want to reach our destinations, and when we make an effort to travel with care, we’ll all get where we’re going - alive.

With colder weather on the way, it’s essential to be prepared for winter driving emergencies! ❄️🚗

Make sure to keep an emergency kit in your back seat. Include blankets, extra layers, a flashlight, a first aid kit, booster cables, water, snacks, sand for traction, and a phone charger. Stay safe this season!

Have you tried the new diverging diamond at Memorial and the Creek Turnpike yet? Remember these tips to help you safely navigate the interchange!

🚨 As you enter the interchange, pay close attention to the pavement markings and signs as you begin to cross through the intersection at the first set of traffic lights.
🚨 As you approach the interchange, slow down and pay attention to traffic control devices, especially if you're new to the traffic flow!
🚨 Left turns onto the highway or turnpike flow more freely, meaning vehicles do not have to wait for opposing traffic to access the ramp.
