Come and be enlightened about the life and legacy of Emmett Till, a young African American boy whose tragic death sparked the Civil Rights Movement.

The tour is led by knowledgeable guides, you'll visit important sites and landmarks associated with Emmett Till's life and death, including the courthouse where his murderers were acquitted and the site where his body was found.

Through this tour, we hope to shed light on the ongoing struggle for racial justice and inspire visitors to become advocates for change in their own communities.

🌟 LEGACY TOUR — The TILL Trail of Tears, Terror, and Truth Educational Tour will take students and attendees to HISTORIC LOCATIONS in the MS delta, iconic to Emmett Till’s journey, the trial, and timeline in history today. (August 26th)

🌟 DAY OF WORSHIP — The day of worship will honor the life, legacy, and COURAGEOUS strides towards justice by Ms. Mamie Till Mobley at a church of communal impact. (August 27th)

Today the Museum unveiled the Mississippi GRAMMY® Archives—Mississippi Map which is now open to the public in our Mississippi Gallery.
The Mississippi GRAMMY Archives is an interactive map that features Mississippi-born GRAMMY winners and nominees, GRAMMY Hall of Fame inductees, and Lifetime Achievement Award winners.
The interactive serves to educate all visitors on the vast impact Mississippians have made on the American musical landscape.
This interactive map was made possible by a $150,000 grant from the state of Mississippi, which was secured in 2019 by now Commissioner Willie Simmons.
