📍One of the best reasons to stay at The Pine Cone House is because of the location. Almost everything is a 20 minute drive up the mountain or down.
⛰️Heading to the lake, Dodge Ridge, or Leland Snowplay? Head up the mountain 20 to 25 minutes.
🛒Need to go shopping or want a night out? Head down to Sonora for lots of options.

📣Intro time!
👩‍🏫Hi! I’m Jessica, your host at The Pine Cone House. Here’s a little bit about me:
👧👦👶I’m a mom to 3 energetic kids. I have two busy elementary aged kids and a determined and outspoken toddler.
🍎I teach Government and Economics at a continuation high school and I have a passion for creating alternative education settings for all students. I discuss my experience owning and operating The Pine Cone House with them and regularly incorporate it into my lesson examples. 🇺🇸💰
🛠️If I had a free evening or weekend, I’d want to do anything craft or DIY related (hence the tool apron). My husband and I rebuilt our deck during covid with a YouTube University education, and after that, I was hooked! Many pieces throughout The Pine Cone House was either built or refinished by yours truly.
🥾My favorite part of waking up in the mountains is the smell of the trees and fresh air. The hike around Pinecrest Lake is the best!
🌲I enjoy hosting! I share what works best for my family and all of our fun adventures fishing, hiking, and enticing all that Tuolumne County has to offer. Thank you for choosing to stay at The Pine Cone House. I hope to make your vacation go as smooth as possible.
