Fishing is just part of a larger adventure. The beautiful North Shore of Lake Superior is one of the best destinations in America. Our fully equipped 23’ fishing boat is safe and comfortable. Merry Christmas and a blessed new year to all, friend or foe.
One of my most enjoyable past times is setting up custom rigging for a particular species. This is a light walleye rod with 2 lb test and a 5 weight fly reel, an England made Hardy multiplier. The fly line is the backing. Nothing wears down a big fish better than dragging around a thick fly line under the surface.

I’m 48 years working in healthcare finance and accounting! He got one thing right: the health insurance companies; they are a risk pool that knows powerful politicians. It’s a blight on our healthcare system and the result is unnecessary expense and untreated illnesses and injuries.
The federal government, via healthcare stakeholders,should run the risk pool just like other countries.
