We fortunately did not have any guests during the recent storm. While travel insurance is crucial at this time of the year, hurricane season, you can also always ask the homeowner for a refund. Our rental company may say no for their portion, but we will always work with guests!

12/15/2023

We just switched to Natural Retreats for the property management firm. We wanted someone on the island. Just had the carpets cleaned and trees trimmed back. There was a single grapefruit on our tree out back but someone must have gotten to it. Hope it was delicious! Maybe we will get more next year.

We also just had a new A/C unit installed. The roof will be next and then the kitchen. We will restock ping pong gear in the next day or two. Planning to leave pickleball rackets and balls as well. Although, the township doesn't put the net up you can play at the YMCA for 5 dollars.

Purchased a few new refrigerator door shelves too. We weren't told what the place needed so hopefully the new management company will watch it more closely .
