Attention Pet Lovers 🐾❤️ Please help us share the word!

The Tybee Island Animal Welfare Division has a beautiful German Shepherd mix in need of a forever home. His name is Rocky. With his striking tan and black coat, Rocky is a handsome and playful companion.

🐕 We believe Rocky would thrive in a single-pet household, as he is still working on improving his leash manners and has displayed some resource guarding behavior with wet food. Rocky does seem to be trainable as he will sit on command and has not displayed any behavior issues regarding dry food.

Currently, due to two large hoarding cases in nearby jurisdictions, our usual partners are unable to assist in finding Rocky a home. If you have the patience to work with him and are looking for a loyal best friend, Rocky would love to become part of your family and make you his forever home.
