Please slow down and watch for the Diamondback Terrapins crossing Tybee Road
(US 80) to nest.

They are most frequently attempting to cross in the hours
just before and just after high tide.

This species is considered vulnerable.

Do not stop and relocate unless you are absolutely sure it is safe to do so.

If relocating, place near the marsh line in the direction they are traveling.

Your safety comes first!

Message to Alex W. from Raleigh NC,

Thank you for your thoughtful YELP one star review of my business.

It would have been difficult for us to ascertain when the busy season actually was without your help. Now that you have made us aware of the fact that it does not start until after May 18 we will be able to take a little time off next year until at least May 17.

Please know that had we been aware that you were coming, we would have absolutely held you a cart for your one day visit. I mean really, not having a cart for you Alex was just a complete blunder on our part. The fact that you had no reservation should not have had an impact on your desire to secure a ride. Also, thank you for the assistance with the business model that we use. I guess a business that is structured to produce revenue must be out of date, I can assure you that I will review this policy and consider reverting to a charitable organization. I am not quite sure how the nine employees, numerous vendors and especially our mortgage holder will feel about that but we look into the viability of this option.

We are also looking into the possibility of adding information to what is commonly known as a web site. It is my understanding that many people visit these to find facts relating to the business that they wish to patronize. Although it does currently indicate the manner in which we handle one day rentals, reservations and the like, it must not be clear enough if you, Alex, an official YELP Local Guide, did not understand that self entitlement would not grant your wish.

We are sorry that your visit to Tybee Island was so terribly uncomfortable for you. All of your YELP reviews of our local businesses indicate that we were not the only one to not meet your expectations. We are such a small island that I know the owners of all of the other businesses mentioned and will be providing them tips to better serve you.

The fact that Huc A Poos has the absurd notion that seating around a bar is a good idea will certainly be shared. What kind of madness is that anyway?

All in all, Alex W. of Raleigh NC, we will do our best to serve you should you visit in the future but unfortunately at this time the best that I have to offer you is a ZERO STAR REVIEW.

Oh, on a side note, we all survived the pandemic, we will survive your one star reviews!

If you are trying to reach us by phone today, we are experiencing a complete outage of our phone system. Verizon assures us that this is a nationwide issue and we are not alone in this vast chasm of noncommunication. That certainly made us feel much better 😧

I am sorry for any inconvenience and I am sure that Verizon is too since I contact them every hour.

A great big welcome to the newest addition to Tybee Golf Carts team. JR Taylor recently relocated from the Atlanta area and is busy establishing a top notch service and repair center.
Tybee residents can now easily get repairs and service without leaving the island, along with accessory installations (bluetooth sound systems, light kits, lift kits and more) performance upgrades and cosmetic improvements. JR has extensive experience working with STAR, Garia, Evolution, EZGO, Club Car, Yamaha, Bad Boy Buggie Carts and most LSV's. JR will also be a vital part of our sales team.

Happy Tuesday afternoon all,
Just a couple of public service announcements 😊
The sales office will be closed Wednesday through Friday while we meet with distributors..... OK we are actually going to Bike Week in Daytona but don't tell anyone else. The rental office will continue to be open as usual.
We also want to announce that we will be a full service shop beginning on April 9. Our new full time certified service technician comes to us with an immense amount of experience and a great personality.
