We’re excited to announce, just in time for the holidays, that we now carry more than 10 different varieties of wine from amazing wineries located right here in Mendocino County. Here’s a breakdown of our current offerings:

If there’s anything you don’t see listed that you’d like, feel free to ask, and we’ll make arrangements. And that’s not all! This is your chance to purchase candles, room spray and perfume featuring our destination scent! The destination scent was part of a months-long process in partnership with Dane Fragrance to capture the essence of Ukiah in scent form. Our Lake Mendocino hats are also available and they make perfect stocking stuffers.

You can purchase all of these items 7 days a week at 200 South School St Monday through Friday from 10-4 and Saturday and Sunday 11-2. Happy Holidays! 🎄

⛄️ We’re less than two weeks away from the holidays and that means we’ve got a special Cuisine Countdown packed full of amazing seasonal food and drinks. Let’s take a look!

1. We’re suckers for seasonal coffee creations and Ellie’s has outdone themselves with this Christmas Iced Coffee Flight — featuring the cutest names as always. Yes we would love to try the Dirty Snowman Latte! ()
2. If you’re looking for a holiday cocktail then head to The Golden Pig where the Holiday Cocktail Collection features four creations that are as cute as they are delicious. This is the Spike S’mores Hot Chocolate complete with a toasted marshmallow. YUM ()
3. Holey Bagels never ceases to amaze us with their takes on the signature “Holey Bagel”. This one features 7+ layers of everything you need to start the day. It’s not a sandwich — it’s a meal! (.bagelsmarket)
4. Our friends at Ukiah Thai Cuisine offer a menu with countless options (that are all delicious) but don’t overlook the Thai spicy drunken noodles. They’re perfect for sharing, but we’ll be keeping this plate all to ourselves ( 📸 )
5. With the holidays approaching, you should think about ordering your rolls from Marino’s Pizza. We can speak from experience that these were a HIT with the whole family on Thanksgiving. Get your order in ASAP! ()
6. Christmas isn’t complete without a little peppermint bark and our friends at Schats do it better than everyone. We might just stock up to last all through 2024 ()
7. Our friends at Nook Gelato specialize in holiday pick-me-ups and this Peppermint White Mocha always hits the spot. Plus the Nook is open on Sundays, and that means 7 chances to enjoy! ()
8. Left Coast Seafood just unveiled its holiday collection of cocktails and it covers all the bases. There’s an orange dreamsicle, an egg nog cocktail that’s divine plus spiked cider and chai toddy. 🍸🎄

⛄️ Live from the Holiday Market at the Conference Center and it’s fun for the whole family!

We’re taking free pics with the Grinch till 4pm, working on arts and crafts, checking out the gingerbread houses, shopping with some awesome local vendors and skating at Ukiah on Ice! Did we mention Big Earls BBQ and Sweet Cotton Tails are here serving up food and sweets? Stop by because the fun goes till 4! ❄️

🎅 The Holidays are upon us and we hope you’re ho ho hungry because it’s Cuisine Countdown time. We’ve got some awesome holiday specials and more!

1. Last week Crepas Cafe unveiled its Christmas drink menu and it’s complete cuteness overload with three options: gingerbread latte, peppermint mocha and sugar cookie latte. I want all three — at once! ()
2. Ellies never misses with the mimosa flights and this is no exception. Look at these holiday options. The Tipsy Elf? Gettin Blitzen? The names are amazing! ()
3. This month’s Happy Hour theme at Patrona is France and our friends went all out. Imagine yourself on a cool, fall afternoon warming up with French onion soup gratineé. That’s what dreams are made of ()
4. A well done steak always hits the spot and Cultivo’s take on the classic Steak Diane is not to be missed. The Diane sauce brings the umami flavors to life! It’s electric. ()

🛍️ Thank you for shopping local for Pink Friday!

A little rain couldn’t stop Ukiah from shopping local and saving big today! It was awesome to see the participating shops decorated in pink from top to bottom. And it was especially awesome seeing places play host to pop-ups for other businesses. That’s what community is all about! Thanks to all the participants and people who helped organize that unreal community effort. Events like these show exactly what makes Ukiah so special 💝🎀

🦃 We’re just a week away from so let’s take a look at some holiday specials and more in the Cuisine Countdown!

1. Recently Left Coast introduced a special Sunday Family Dinner menu that won’t hurt your wallet and features four courses of comfort food. There’s Caesar salad, mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and a whole roasted chicken that is divine. Grab the family and let’s eat! ()
2. New seasonal favorites returned this week at Black Oak Coffee and the gingerbread latte is on the list. It’s the perfect blend of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar — all served with a cookie on top. Talk about a combo! ()
3. Nothing brings out the Thanksgiving vibes like a homemade pot pie, and lucky for us that is Schats specialty. Get those orders in ASAP for this classic made with love. ()

7. It’s safe to say Oco Time found the perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors with its creamy cali roll. The creamy chili sauce drizzled on this roll creates a flavor you’ll never forget ()

💐 Thank you for making Día de los Mu***os a spectacular celebration.

Alex Thomas Plaza was a vibrant sea of color and remembrance in honor of Día de los Mu***os, a holiday that helps reunite the living and the dead. Marigolds and altars could be seen throughout the grounds as we watched some amazing performances, enjoyed food from our local vendors, and took in all the sights like the low riders! Thanks to everyone who helped organize the unforgettable event and to all of you for making this traditional celebration extra special 🕯️🧡💐💀🏵️

🎃 Downtown Trick or Treat was INSANE! 🦇🧙‍♀️

The sidewalks were packed again with trick or treaters and all the businesses brought out their finest treats — and tricks! 🤪 Trunk or Treat at Alex Thomas Plaza was fun for the whole family and we even saw rainbow!? 🌈 Anything can happen on Halloween! Thanks Ukiah. Have a safe and fun night 👻

🎃 Trick or treat! The Cuisine Countdown is here a day early to highlight some Halloween specials and, as always, our favorite food available in Ukiah. Let’s get to the treats!

1. Some new menu items debuted this week at Patrona and this one is the best of both worlds. We’ve got classic chicken wings AND a special veggie quinoa burger. You can enjoy both now at the corner of Standley and School! ()
2. It’s Halloween tomorrow and Marino’s has a special for you! Enjoy this Halloween pizza with a $5 discount if you mention that you saw it online! Tell them Visit Ukiah sent you. You can get yours take and bake style or hot and ready. Get your preorder in today! ()

🩵 Thank you everyone for attending the unveiling of our new signage at Lake Mendocino!

As the partnership between GUBTA & USACE begins, tonight marked the first of many steps toward a new future for Lake Mendocino! You can see the new sign at the south boat ramp now with more signs coming at the north ramp also. But that’s not all! We’ll be working toward transforming the area at the south ramp into a destination park where the people of Ukiah can thrive. Stay tuned for more details, because the fun is just beginning! Thanks to everyone who helped make it happen. SPACE, you’re so amazing. Thanks for setting the vibe! 🤩

👻 Halloween is just around the corner and that means we’ve got another scary-good list of our favorite food from across Ukiah. It’s Cuisine Countdown time!

1. They’re back! The popular Witch Finger breadsticks from Mama’s Cafe should be available to order in the coming days ahead of Halloween. It’s such a fun Halloween treat that it’s scary! 🧙‍♀️ (.cafe.ukiah)
2. Crepas Cafe has a few tricks and treats up its sleeve for halloween like this pumpkin co**ha. It’s everything you love about the sweet bread treat but shaped like a pumpkin. Too cute! ()
3. One of the new starters for fall at Cultivo is French onion soup, and you will LOVE their take on the classic soup. It’s perfect for fall and a great way to kick off your dinner ()
4. If you’re a kid at heart — or just love a good sandwich, head to Patrona for the new Adult Grilled Cheese for lunch. It features brie melted to perfection with prosciutto and shaved apple on walnut sourdough. ()
5. If you love seasonal flavors for fall, then the wild mushroom ravioli at Left Coast is your ticket. It’s back for the first time in a while and better than ever! ()
