We had the honor of having recent guests celebrate their wedding during their stay at the cabin recently!! They were kind enough to share their wedding video with us to share on social media. The Blue Ridge Tunnel Trail is now reopen!!
We thank everyone for your patience and cooperation during this closure.

The trail does have one additional closure scheduled for Friday October 25. This is in preparation for our Tunnel After Dark event that evening.

The Blue Ridge Parkway (from milepost 0 to milepost 198 in Virginia) will reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday, October 11 after closures due to impacts from Hurricane Helene. Hikers are advised to use caution—Hurricane Helene may have left downed trees, loose rocks, and blocked trails.

The National Park Service hopes to reopen the remainder of the parkway in Virginia within the next two weeks.
