Heading to a Truck camper rally in Southern AZ. Should be about 300 campers! Should be something to see... Left Taos just after 8 inches of snow. Stopped at Elephant Butte Lake SP, then over to Silver city NM for some antiques browsing....over to Saguaro NP for some big-ass cactus.....into Tucson to Pima Air Museum and to meet up with old and new friends....over to the Rally tomorrow! More pics to come!

LET THE FOURTH BEGIN!!

Off to slay some trout on the San Juan river over the next few days. Then Ray Wyllie Hubbard concert Saturday in Red River NM. On Sunday evening in Taos, Micheal Hearne followed by Los Lobos outdoor at the park!!!! Of course, followed by fireworks!! Going to be a great week!!!

After skiing the first day, and several drinks, we came up with the idea to rate each ski area after skiing.....sounded like a good idea at the time....

We will share the results with these warnings.....

We only rated the INDY PASS areas...Mad River, Smuggs, Taos and Wolf creek were our baselines...along with all our other favorites!

We can only rate on our days skiing there...some things are not in control of the ski areas!!

We were one intermediate skier and 2 experts (3 votes) through Washington...B was not with us beyond Mission Ridge....(only 2 votes after that).

Our 6 categories were... Campsite, Hospitality,Terrain, Snow Conditions, Lifts, Views/Vista!!!

Winner of each:: Campsite--Brundage Hospitality--Lost Trail
Terrain--Silver tied with Saddleback Snow--Lost Trail
Lifts--Saddleback View/Vista--Saddleback

Highest combined score was SADDLEBACK in Maine!!!

If you have did not hit Saddleback this season, PUT IT ON YOUR LIST FOR NEXT YEAR!!!!

We skied in 13 states!!
We skied 22 ski areas!!
I skied 32 days!!
Cindy skied 31 days!!

We were on the road for 63 days!!
We drove more than 10000 miles!!

We spent a couple hundred buck on campgrounds and a few of the ski areas charged $10-20 to spend the night in the parking lot......

Cindy did most of the cooking before we left. Our freezer was packed full, both times we headed out!!

Countless meals and nights at friends and families houses all across the country!!

Gas???? Trying hard not to think about it!!!

Made it back to Taos yesterday! Laundry is all but done! Camper just about cleaned out.

Things are almost back to normal!!!

We will work on the summary tonight!

We crossed the mighty Mississippi yesterday, so I think it's official....Our Eastern loop of Indy Pass tour has ended!!

We hoped to land in Taos today, but high winds have slowed us. We will be home tomorrow, hopefully!!

We will sum up our trip once we get settled in at home.

Really nice hill! Will not be surprised if this one finishes at the top of our or list!!

Arrived and skied Sunday. A little too busy, little firm at first....really nice afternoon. Spent the night in the lot and hit it again today!! Great grooming this morning and softened up in no time!!

Fun, Fun, Fun!! Best onion rings, too!! Glad to see it back!!
