It was February of 2020, yes we all remember how that went shortly after.
I found out my husband had never been to Yosemite and I talked about it endlessly. I grew up going regularly, seeing it in the spring when it's green, covered in white snow where everything looks like a black and white photo. So one day, Shane surprised me with a trip. Our first trip without the child since she was born.
I cannot recommend this location enough, if you are looking for a peaceful stay in cute cabins - an easy drive into the park being located near the South Entrance off Hwy 41.
The staff was amazing, the perfect blend of being available without constantly checking in.
We stayed in the Stagecoach Cottage, and enjoyed a cozy fire and the familiar comfort of quilts.
If this is you vibe, maybe you want to pair it with a horseback ride through the Yosemite Valley, or a hike through the giant sequoias.

End of the week greetings from CoCo Red Rebel. We are wrapping up, at times seriously, and gearing up for another amazing family Christmas.
I joked after thanksgiving this year that I wanted to take a cruise for thanksgiving instead of doing the whole meal prep thing.

Without a vehicle and a busy schedule while in Las Vegas, I’ve been dependent on DoorDash. This morning I found a Gluten Free Pancake Flight! Cinnamon Roll, Pineapple upside down, and Strawberry shortcake. Huge shout out to Snooze for offering delicious gluten free pancakes.

There is always a bit of unknown when you are traveling. It could be the people you meet, the food you eat, or... the things you forgot.
No matter how many lists, how many times I think I have gone over my suitcase, there is always something missing. When I am lucky it is something replaceable, and when I'm not a drivers license.
On our road trip in September I ran out of toothpaste and told myself to replace it when I got home. Well here I am in Las Vegas using my daughters toothpaste. Thankfully toothpaste is toothpaste so I can go about my trip.

How many trips have you had to run out to a store to pick up a forgotten item, or had Amazon deliver to your hotel?

For the next few nights I will be in Las Vegas! Excited to try to catch a show and have a bit of adventure.
If you are coming to Las Vegas for a convention in the west hall, the Las Vegas Marriott is perfectly located directly across from the West Hall entrance. My two queen bed room is clean and has an open airy feel. I love the layout giving the impression of more space.

Talking to people and planning is by far the best part of what I do, but every so often we have to work behind the scenes. Business hygiene, which is a weird way to put it but so true.
Shane and I have been doing just that since we are in between our own trips and only have a few people traveling at the moment.
I can hardly wait for people to start experiencing what we are working on.
