If I'm being honest, work is hard right? To make a job your career takes time, lots of failures, lots of successes, and a LOT of grinding work! Sometimes it's fun but most of the time late nights, early mornings, and lots of stressful moments in between.
Im so grateful to have found a job I am SO passionate about, love with my whole heart, and makes me excited to get up every morning.

Ever thought about working with Rhode to Travel but not quite sure how to start? Or how the process even works? Here's a quick break down to how we approach every vacation:
1️⃣ Check out our website and fill out our "plan to go" form. This will get the ball rolling and give us some starting information.
2️⃣ We then set up a quick call to go over all the details from the form and any other unique things that are a must. This is also the time we get to know each other a little bit!
3️⃣ Now is the fun part! We get to work on putting together a killer itinerary. We will work back and forth to make sure we get every detail correct.
4️⃣When everything is perfect, we get all components confirmed and deposited. Depending on the time frame, we can work on restaurant recs, spa treatments and additional tours down the road.
5️⃣ A few weeks prior to traveling, we go over all confirmations and documents to ensure everything is in order and understood. At this point we let the hotels know you are VIP to make sure you are well taken care of!
6️⃣ Finally it's trip time! We are here for you while your traveling in the event of an emergency but now it's your time to relax and ENJOY your beautifully curated vacation.
7️⃣ Youre home, boooo! You'll hear from us one more time in the form of a follow up! We want to know how everything was AND of course start day dreaming about the NEXT one!

Can we just take a moment to soak in the fact that it's AUGUST already?!
This summer has been jam packed with RTT clients traveling *quite literally* all over the world.. from Hawaii, ALL over Europe, California road trips, Colombia, Nile River cruising, and more!
With the start of August, things aren't slowing down. I'm looking forward to adding NEW clients to our RTT family, sending more clients away on their dream trips, and even adding my own wedding to the mix!
Do I know how to slow down? No. But neither do my clients 🤪

Èze. You were everything I wanted you to be after being on my bucket list for probably 10 years!
This medieval hilltop village clings to the mountainside high above the Mediterranean Sea between Nice and Monaco.
The views are breathtaking. There are Michelin star restaurants all over. Boutiques GALORE. Trust me when I say it is an absolute must on any South of France itinerary. Don't fight me on this 😅

Spent 3 days in Paris after being gone for 12 years. Paris, you're still gritty, tiring, and and emotionally draining. But your cafes, baguettes, and that Eiffel Tower magic will keep me coming back 🇫🇷

Walking tour of Montmartre was a delicious success! 🥐🍷🧀
We had macarons, cream puffs, a wine and cheese pairing along with taking in the wonderful neighborhood that is Montmartre.
Montmartre is known as an artistic neighborhood with STEEP winding cobbly streets ending at the top with the Sacre Coeur basilica. Absolutely a must visit neighborhood when staying in Paris!

Made it back to Paris after a 12 year hiatus! If you don't know, I studied abroad here
It was my first passport stamp, my first time traveling alone, and arguably where I got bit by the travel bug.
Returning to some of my favorite spots, seeing the Eiffel Tower lit up, and hearing those damn garbage trucks (iykyk) just brings me BACK! To 20 and carefree 🤪
Follow for the next two weeks while I explore Paris, South of France, and Barcelona!

Spent the evening with getting my "spiritual tasting" on 🤙🏽
We did breath work, tasted delicious mezcal + tequila, and ended with a dance party! It was such a fun experience that I can absolutely add on to any clients' trips that are interested!

Clients ending their week long Irish vacation with the beautiful where they will golf, take bicycles around the grounds, experience falconry, and take horseback riding lessons.
This mother-daughter trip is one of my last rescheduled trips from 2020! I feel the pain of delaying a vacation almost as much as my clients do so I am so thrilled they finally took off!

It wasn't until I was 20 years old that I received my first passport stamp and that was only because I was studying abroad in Paris
I didn't grow up vacationing in different resorts all over the world. All it took was that one trip to Paris to be hooked on travel and I haven't looked back.

If travel feels a little too complicated or cumbersome, that's because it is. Covid entry requirements are still changing by the day. It's hard to know what the current rules are let alone when your trip rolls around!
Couple news headlines you should be aware of (and we make sure our clients already know!)
-Masks are off.. and on.. depending on the situation. Some airlines and countries are still requiring them. Make sure to always pack them just in case.
-testing and vaccination requirements still stand for a LOT of places.
-flights are still being cancelled by the masses. Between weather, staff shortages, ATC, etc, make sure you continue to pack your patience.
-prices are HIGH and availability is LOW (just like everything else right now)! Travel costs are almost always based on supply and demand. Plan ahead and you can still get a great deal!

No It's which is just an excuse to say thank you to our clients who let me live out my passion for travel daily.
To know I have been even a small part of someone's memory in some of my favorite places on earth is such a pinch me moment.
I give a piece of me every time I recommend my favorite cliff side restaurant in Positano or the best place to get rum punch in Barbados or the best biscuit and jam in Dublin or even the best rooftop in Marrakech for stunning sunsets.
