We will be starting our late season schedule for shuttle buses on September 30 (Monday) and running until October 15, 2024. Leaving Stehekin Landing 8:30 am and 2:00 pm, Leaving High Bridge 9:15am and 2:45 pm. We will be only driving runs with reservations or known hikers to pick up, so please make a reservation or contact us via text. We will be using smaller 14 passenger buses during this late season, so reservations are recommended.

Starting 9/25, the temporary hiker bridge near North Fork Camp will not be accessible while contractors work on construction of the new bridge. Hiker and stock users should use the McAlester Lake and Rainbow Creek trails from the Upper Rainbow Loop Trailhead.

The Stehekin Valley Adventures shuttle from Stehekin Landing to High Bridge (PCT) is running on our full summer schedule from now until September 29. Leaving Stehekin Landing daily at 8:00 am, 11:30 am, 2:00 pm and 5:30 pm. Leaving High Bridge at 9:00 am, 12:30 pm, 3:00 pm and 6:15 pm. Book online or pay at the bus with cash or card. After September 29 we will continue with an off-season schedule.

Harlequin Campground and some sites in Lakeview and Purple Point campgrounds in Stehekin have reopened. Due to impacts from the Pioneer Fire, available campsites in Lakeview and Purple Point campgrounds are limited. Reservations for Harlequin Campground are available on https://ow.ly/1PzY50TgIAS through Saturday, September 8, then available first-come, first-served. Sites 3-6 in Purple Point Campground, sites 6-9 in Lakeview Campground, and sites that are not reserved and are open will be available first-come, first-served.

The Pioneer Fire is still an active wildfire. Firefighters and crews continue to work in the area. A burned landscape presents a number of safety hazards that either did not exist prior to the fire or are increased by the effects of the fire. Park managers are working to assess trail, camp, and area closures. Park closure information can be found on the park’s Fire Closures page, https://ow.ly/nPZa50TgIAU.

WE ARE OPENING ON SEPT 5!!
The Ranch will be opening our cabins back up on 9/5, with dinners and kayak tours starting on 9/6. We are stoked to welcome everyone back for our favorite month!
NOTE: We will also be hosting a small firefighter camp at the Ranch to support them as they continue to ensure the fire remains contained away from the Stehekin Valley. Their camp will be contained on the down valley side of our driveway, leaving the main Ranch area as normal for our guests. But don’t worry - Maximus will be on patrol to keep them in line!

We are looking forward to opening back up with tours for the beautiful fall season in Stehekin! We will be offering the Glimpse of Stehekin and Heart of the Cascades tours Labor Day weekend and Fridays and Saturdays in September.

News Release: Pioneer Fire Level 1 Evacuation for Stehekin

Effective yesterday at 6 pm, a Level 1 Evacuation notice for Stehekin has been issued by the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Management in coordination with Northwest Incident Management Team 3. A Level 1 Evacuation alerts residents and visitors there is a wildfire in the area. The evacuation level is being downgraded from a Level 2 Evacuation notice issued on July 25. Stehekin residents: We are running a shuttle daily from the airport to the landing to assist with evacuation without traffic congestion. You may park at the airport and ride, or get on the shuttle as we go down the road. The shuttle leaves the airport 1 hour before each boat departure, so 9:40am for Stehekin Ferry, and 11:30 am for Lady Express.
