Tis the Season at Kick Back Cabin. There’s something so magical about Christmas at a Cabin in the Smoky Mountains. We hope this season brings joy to all our guest. 🎄

Kick Back Cabin had some work done today!! We had new porch railing installed, new front porch steps installed, some damnaged shingles fixed, some inside doors all buff out and re-stained and right in the middle of it all we got this pic from our awesome contractors to update us…it made us stop in our tracks to admire the beautiful fall trees.

Sevierville, TN is a beautiful place this time of year even with construction going on😂😁 And I wanted to share the beauty with you too.

⚒ Our 1st phase of our Cabin Remodel 🛠

WOW. These past few weeks has been a whirlwind for our Kick Back Cabin up in Sevierville, Tennessee. Our downstairs just went through a complete remodel.

Doing all this from out of state has been a huge new learning experience and we couldn’t do it without our incredible team and network of people that we call our “our boots on the ground.”

When we bought our cabin it had water damage that lead to structural issues and so our entire flooring had to get pulled up and our contractor and his team had to go in and reinforce the joist and subfloor which caused us to get brand new high quality laminate flooring, a new shower and tub, vanity, toilet, baseboards etc.

All within this same timeline we had to get new cleaners and a new pest control company too.

🧹Our cleaners have surpassed our expectations. One of our main goals for every guest is that when they walk into our cabin it is fully stocked and clean and our cleaners have done just that!

🪳🐝 If you know anything about Tennessee cabin life you know bugs are common and so another goal of ours is that our guest do not have to worry about that. Our new pest control guy came out and spent 2 hours on our property to help provide the best service.

We also have a real life “Cabin Fairy🧚‍♂️” who adds all the special touches with providing our guest with a surprise when they walk through our doors. Our guest today coming in today are celebrating their daughters 21st birthday and we can’t wait for them to arrive with their special gift!!

We are also so thankful for the pics we have received from our amazing team. It helps so much with the process and with us not being close.

I will say though seeing these pictures makes me want to jump on a plane to add all the finishing touches to make it even more amazing but it is busy season and we are already booking up quickly.
