Travel To The UK Just Got a Little Trickier!!!

Planning a trip to the UK in 2025 or beyond? Be ready to add “apply for travel authorization” to your to-do list…right between “find my passport” and “figure out how to not overpack.”
Starting January 8, 2025 the UK is rolling out its brand-new travel system called the 'ETA' (Electronic Travel Authorisation).

This is different than the 'ETIAS' that Europe is rolling out in 2025 (not effective yet). The 'ETA' is specifically for the UK. Essentially, it’s a system designed to pre-screen travelers before they even step foot on British soil.
