The Mast is out and on land!!! Here are some pictures of what is on the top of the mast…and it looks like the wind anemometer has broken off! (I added and old pic of what it looked like before). I was wondering why that instrument wasn’t working during the trip to the yard! I don’t know why I didn’t think to look up, it must have come off over winter!

Naiad made her way through the marsh of Clinton, up to Old Saybrook yesterday. This weekend we will make the next passage up the CT River to Chester where the mast will be pulled and all rigging checked next week! Then the following week hopefully the sails can go on!! 😜👍

Sail Naiad is having a very late start to this season.
NAIAD is ready to splash with beautiful wax and detail and new bottom paint. However, once in the water she is moving to an another yard and will have her mast pulled out and all her rigging checked and a few issues corrected. This means probably no sailing till mid July depending on the yards pace! Other big news is coming as well - please stay tuned till all the details are worked out and she is ready to go! Unfortunately until I can confirm the date when yard will be finished no charters will be booked. Thanks for your business and patience! Much Love! Captain Eautha

Sail Naiad has some big changes coming…
-Right now Naiad is waxed, bottom painted and waiting to splash.
-Next she is having her rigging reviewed, mast pulled halyard brakes replaced and many other items shackles, blocks and things replaced. Unfortunately this is contributing to a very late start to the season! But she will be in great shape!
Therefore probably not sailing till mid July- but there will be some other major news to share by then as well!
Stay tuned for new updates!
***Not booking sails currently till dates and all other items can be all ironed out to share! Stay tuned! Summer is here!

Happy summer everyone!! Naiad was loaded up this past weekend for fireworks display Friday night and atrip to Northport with family!
Great time had by all- even the 4-legged ones loved it!

One of the magnificently, delicious dishes that came aboard last weekend with guests!!
So this charter was just a big feast! We sat on mooring for a bit before sailing, enjoying the gentle rocking of the boat and beautiful surroundings while we experienced so many great dishes- hopefully more photos to follow-but this was a Shrimp Wonton with Hawaiian Salsa - OMG it was delicious! —creator says it was adopted from “Pacific O” a restaurant in Maui! Yum! I got the recipe, I am making this one!!

Congratulations to Sail Naiad clients Emanuel and Lillian, they are expecting their 1st child a Baby Boy!!!
He has had his first documented sail now, and they are hoping he is going to grow up to be a sailor!! Me too!! 👍

Family Fun with Sail Naiad!
