🌊 At the start of the new year, I posted about "wave season". This is the time that people start to think about- and book- their travel for the upcoming year.

🚂 The "B" Family is headed to Universal Orlando Resort in June to celebrate all things Harry Potter!

🌳 The "W" Family is headed back to Big Cedar Lodge!!

🌳 Big Cedar Lodge is one of my family's favorite vacation destinations outside of Disney and Universal. Located in Ridgedals, Missouri, the trip is driveable from Houston and SO worth the drive!

🌳 From the breathtaking scenery, amazing amenities, and tons of resort-led activities, the "W" family is so excited to be headed back! (and we will be there the week before, too!!)

If your kids are anything like mine, they eat ALL day long! 🙄 This is such a quick, easy, and cheap snack for the kiddos (& yourself) to munch on while waiting for parades or shows to start!

❄️ The last time Houston had an ice/snow day, my kiddo and I were at Disney World and our flight was canceled. We got to add another night to our trip (darn) and had the BEST day! (all without missing another day of work or school, too!)

🚝 We went to Disney Springs and then spent the rest of the day resort hopping! We took the monorail around with stops at Disney's Polynesian Resort, Disney's Contemporary Resort, and Disney's Grand Floridian resort. We shopped, ate, traded pins, and explored!

🛥️ From there, we hopped over to Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Beach Club Resort for more of the same- and made sure to stop at Beaches & Cream for the most delicious milkshakes to end our day.

❄️ Not a bad way to celebrate a snow/ice day!
