Presents: THE FIRST ANNUAL CENTRAL SIERRA RIB COMPETITION!
North Fork BBQ will hold the biggest RIB competition ever held in the Sierra Nevadas.⛰️ You will be able to pre purchase wristbands on http://www.northforkbbq.com/ribcomp starting today! The wristbands will allow you to taste every competitor’s ribs and vote for your favorite! THESE WRISTBANDS are first come first serve and we do have limited supply.

Location: 33173 Rd 222, North Fork, Ca, 93643. 8am-4pm. Schedule of events will be released soon.

We will have craft vendors, cold beer from the SNOWLINE SALOON, a bounce house and of course LIVE MUSIC the whole event! We have our friends Dime Museum and What Comes Next rocking the stage as you vote for your favorite rib as teams collide in the ultimate rib competition. 🎸🎸🥁🎶🎤🎼🎸🥁🇺🇸🥁🎶🎸🥁🎸

We will have a judges choice with large cash prizes as well as a people’s choice prize too! We will have tons of vendors, merchandise, raffles, beer, food, and fun the whole day. Come out and support an amazing cause and let’s all get our mountain communities together and have fun! This event will be open to the public however wristbands and check-in will be required to participate in the event!

Did you know that you can rent rafts and use them to go down the Merced River here in Yosemite?

These are the helpful tips and rules you should be aware of: -it is recommended to get to the Curry Village tour stand as soon as possible as rafting reservations are first come first serve- All rafts depart from Curry Village and after your experience is over, a shuttle will pick you up at sentinel beach to return you back to the starting location. What’s required: - two strong paddlers for each raft (5’0 ft and over 12 years old)- life jackets are always required- NO small children- For more rules and regulations check out our website and look under rafting.

BASS LAKE REGULATIONS

Good morning & welcome to the weekend Madera County!! As a reminder to our residents and visitors, Bass Lake is open to the public 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

A speed limit of 5 mph is *mandatory* between the hours of sunset or 8pm, whichever occurs earlier, and 8am the following day.

Paddle boards shall only be ridden within the 5mph zone, unless accompanying a swimmer which shall remain within 25 feet of the swimmer at all times, between 6am and 8am.

Our Bass Lake Boat Patrol Unit will be out on the water ensuring everyone is enjoying their time safely and responsibly. Reports or requests for assistance can be made by calling our Communications Center at (559) 675-7770.
