What genre of music do you consider Dead Groove Band to be?

Hard rock with classic rock vibes.

What’s the ultimate direction for your band?
Dead Groove Band:
We are currently closing out dates for a US tour starting in August and ending in December to promote our new record. We will have one show in Lima, Peru in December as well. Right now, we are running several PR campaigns to also promote the record.
Laura:
How would you describe your music-making process?
Dead Groove Band:
I think it's pretty normal as far as bands go with the exception that the guitarist lives in Lima, Peru.

Why call the band “Dead Groove Band?”
Dead Groove Band:
We started with a clothing company called Dead Groove Clothing and from there we decided we already had merch, why not just make the band name that too.
Laura:
What should fans expect to experience at a show?
Dead Groove Band:
A rock and roll show. No fire or anything.
Laura:
Who has influenced you the most through music?
Dead Groove Band:
Pretty much everyone influences us in some way, but this record was heavily influenced by Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Rival Sons, classic rock, metal, hard rock, and etc.

**Bio via Dead Groove Band.
Holly West, on vocals and bass, is known for being the bassist of the California-based, all female, Led Zeppelin tribute band, Zepparella. She brings a unique energy to the band's sound.
Fred Aching, on drums and vocals, has toured internationally with acts like POWERFLO, BillyBio, Bulletboys, and Kings of Thrash, and is a powerhouse on the drums.
Cesar Salaverry, on guitar and vocals, is known for his vocal coaching on The Voice, Peru and as the guitarist of the popular touring rock band Ma**er of Peru. He is a virtuoso on the guitar.
