My countdown is shrinking. Only TWELVE more weeks!

One of my favorite things about Walt Disney World is the food! It’s all so delicious and picking restaurants for reservations is SO hard sometimes.

Some of my favorites include:

- Morimoto Asia
- Liberty Tree Tavern
- Yak and Yeti
- Garden Grill

15 MORE WEEKS!

The Polynesian opened back up yesterday. I CANNOT wait to walk into the lobby and take in all of the amazing smells. The Polynesian is my favorite resort on the monorail line. 🌺

More resorts are scheduled to open at Walt Disney World!

Disney officially announced “As we continue to take a measured and deliberate approach to reopening our Disney Resort hotels, we are happy to share we will start accepting bookings on July 8, 2021 for:

Disney’s All-Star Music Resort for arrivals beginning Sept. 16
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside for arrivals beginning Oct. 14
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter for arrivals beginning Oct. 28
Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort for arrivals beginning Dec. 9.

Disney also announced “We are excited to continue welcoming Guests to hotels that have recently opened, like Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, and are busy preparing Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for arrivals to begin on July 19 and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge on Aug. 26.”

I am so excited that in 17 weeks I get to stand on Main Street U.S.A and watch fireworks over Cinderella Castle! I will miss Happily Ever After but I am so excited to get to watch a brand new firework show in the Magic Kingdom! 🎆

Cinderella Castle stands 189 feet tall. It is made to look much taller using forced perspective so it looks taller when you look at it.

Cinderella Castle is also 100 feet taller than Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland!

It’s national dessert day!

One of my favorite things to do in the Magic Kingdom is the Happily Ever After Dessret Party!

They had every dessert from cheesecake to the famous Liberty Tree Tavern Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake.
