I didn't know how much I needed the ocean, till I was there. 🌊

This weekend I wanted to take some time to relax and recharge. It was so hot, we just had to be in water. We decided to take a mini trip for Calli to experience the ocean for the first time! She's been swimming in lakes and rivers, but for someone who's mama grew up on the beach, she should have gone much sooner! 🤣

She had a blast in the water, and we were able to share a special sunset moment in the spot where we spread my mom's ashes- Calliope finally got to see where her nana is! I cherish these moments so much, and I absolutely cannot wait to build more precious family memories.

Our 5th annual pilgrimage to the farm was everything I could have imagined and more.

We stopped in Pigeon Forge and spent a couple days at Dollywood, nommed on cinnamon bread, and conquered Lightning Rod.

From there we traveled home to Bonnaroo. Our absolute FAVORITE place in the entire universe (yes-even more than Disney!!). The rooniverse blessed us with the most incredible camp spot possible DIRECTLY outside the arch, as well as a ticket for my best friend in the entire world, Kat, to experience her first Roo. It was also Calliope's first Bonnaroo and she absolutely RAN the farm in true festival baby fashion- she loved every single minute of it!

We had the honor of renewing our vows on Sunday afternoon in the House of Matroomony, officiated by and surrounded by dozens of beautiful Bonnaroovians.

We finally got the bonnaroo wedding of our dreams and I could not be more in awe of how incredible our journey home went. As always, we'll see you next year Bonnaroo!
