The NWS has issued a Red Flag & High Wind Warning for the Sevier County area tomorrow, Wed March 30th. A Cold Front will bring high winds to the area which may produce wind gusts in excess of 80mph in the higher elevations with gusts over 55 mph in the lower elevations.
A Red Flag Warning is issued when warm temperatures, very low humidity, and strong winds are expected to combine to produce an increased risk of fire danger.
We ask that no one burns any debris tomorrow, and call 911 when there are signs of a possible fire. For more information, please check out the Sevier Co EMA page and other local media outlets.

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches with over 6 inches at the tops of the mountains * WHERE...East Tennessee mountains and foothills.
* WHEN...From noon Thursday to 7 AM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Travel through the mountains could be treacherous.

My family loved your cabin! It was clean and well equipped with everything including Keurig, tv's in every room and video games. We all loved the hot tub too and we will never forget our bear encounters! Little cubs came up to the deck to say hi! 😁 The view was incredible! We will always fondly remember our stay at Gatlin Views!
