We are so excited that our website and our VRBO listing is live! We have put so much love and energy into making this condo a wonderful getaway anytime of the year! Our winter rentals are 30 days, but throughout the rest of the year we only have a 2 or 3 night minimum. Naples is like a little bit of heaven on earth. It’s official! This week we closed on a new short-term rental adventure. We have a lot of fixing up to make our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo in Greenlinks at Lely in Naples, FL aMAYzing and we are excited about it! More photos of the earliest parts of the transformation coming soon!

Yesterday, we made the last trip down the driveway leaving 17 Cinnamon Drive behind. We bought this home in the middle of the pandemic as a place to escape to from Chicago. It quickly became a thriving short-term rental business. Today, we closed the doors and sold the home to a new owner.
It is a bittersweet moment because we have truly loved being hosts to the wonderful guests who have visited our home. It is an amazing experience to get to be a small part of someone's happiest moments- vacation!
We put so much time and energy and love into everything we did for this home and our guests. As an added benefit, we were able to host our own family vacations. In a short 2 1/2 years, we have made so many memories that we will carry with us forever. It is so great to know that our guests did too.
We may be leaving 17 Cinnamon Drive behind, but we are looking forward to a new adventure of being short-term rental hosts in Naples, Florida!!! We are currently working through the details of purchasing an aMAYzing Property there and hope you will continue to follow us and one day be our guest!

BIG things were happening in Galena yesterday when a who’s who of baseball royalty came together at The General Golf Course in The Galena Territory for the inaugural Legends Dream Big Charity Golf Tournament, headed by Chicago White Sox legend Frank Thomas and benefiting the new nonprofit Field of BIG Dreams.
