I gave it a shot! Hear my quick 3 minute speech on how a scuba diving and seeing a SHARK led me to understand how to let things unfold naturally.

This speech was my dress rehearsal for the Warm Heart Life - A to B Con Speaking Competition. Warm Heart Life While I didn't advance to the final round, I did enjoy being part of an wonderful and supportive group of speakers and judges!

One of the judges was Christian Perry from Dancing With the Stars and he said that my speech was "captivating" and that I am an natural on camera. YAY!

I enjoyed being on the Epic Sages podcast recently! We spoke about how "herding the kittens" as it pertains to group travel - getting everybody ready to rock and roll for the day when on our adventures in the world - relates to the gaming community and gathering the gamers to come play.

It was a lot of fun speaking with Rook (Roger) and Rye Guy (Younger) of Epic Sages and Andrew Cook, my co-guest. I had NO IDEA about the ins and outs of the TTRPG gaming virtual community so it was nice to discover as we chatted. Last night I had the honor to speak at the Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury 🕯️Candlelight Vigil 🕯️to remember and honor those victimized by domestic violence. This month is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

As an International Public Speaker, I spoke on the topic of the Path to Your Journey leads to hope 🙏, healing 🫶, and peace 🕊️and touched upon some of my travel ✈️ experiences around the world 🌎. It was so wonderful for the opportunity to address my local community area where I grew up as a child. Even though I travel the world, it is nice to always come home. Hugs to you all.

It's North Dakota Day today! And we celebrate our indigenous friends from around the world and including in North Dakota.

Come join Sara from Embolden Adventures and Claudeen from Claudeen On The Go as we learn how to build a traditional Plains Indians teepee.

When we were visiting North Dakota during the MHA Tourism and MHA Nation: Indian Horse Relay, we had the pleasure to learn how to build a teepee (also spelled tipi) from Gary and Wesley Snow of MHA Nation

We are on location on stage at the North Dakota State Fair in Minot, North Dakota ahead of the Second Annual MHA Nation Indian Horse Relay

The Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Tribes (known as MHA Nation) have lived on these lands for thousands of years.

I competed in last weekend in Niagara Falls, Canada and in summary, here are the reasons why I believe I succeeded:

2️⃣ Going on Podcasts and Speaking on Location Around the World in front of the video camera

3️⃣ Job Interviews, Pitching to Win Deals, On-the-job Direct Communication

4️⃣ Practice, Practice, Practice

I did it!! I am now an INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC SPEAKER! And I placed 5th Place!! 🏆

These were the third and fourth speeches IVE EVER GIVEN IN MY LIFE (the other two were in high school or at a banquet using my speaking notes) and I just went for it—I entered myself into the competition and got it done!!

I spoke about a period of adversity in my life that led to traveling the world and how seeing the world can emboldened YOu!

Thank you to Jesse Cruz and Desire Cruz , the judges and the rest of the organizers for putting on the M.I.C Story International Speaking Competition and for bringing together world class, high caliber international speakers to the stage. This experience was empowering. Congratulations to us all - we rocked it!!🦾🦾

It’s National Read a Book Day! The book I would like to showcase today is one written by my friend in memorium, Prince Ali Seraj who wrote the book The Lost Kingdom: A Memoir of an Afghan Prince.
