From a fb group I'm in and thought it was just too cool not to share...
This is how my Grandma accepted my Grandad’s marriage proposal letter in 1950. I love that it shows that they were fun, and young, and not nearly as innocent as we all assume. (They were English, so some of the phrasing seems a bit weird. She was such a stickler for proper grammar that she tracked down the lady announcing flights at an airport once, and corrected her use of the word momentarily.)
