This 2-week program provides essential skills and technical training to recently graduated high school seniors to help them transition into a successful, lifelong career. Shaw Family Dental Center, managed by Onsite Dental, recently teamed up with Dalton First United Methodist Church and City Park Elementary School to provide essential dental care to students in need! 🦷✨ In a single day, the dental staff served 24 patients, performing free x-rays, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.

This facility will provide services — close to home — for clients in Murray County.
We kicked off Hispanic Heritage month with a 'Spanish 101 Mixer,' and it was a hit! The event was hosted by Conexión, our associate resource group that connects and develops Hispanics and Latinos within Shaw. Associates from across the organization practiced their Spanish with activities and games, including the traditional game Lotería. Attendees were able to see our leading innovations in action as hundreds of pets– dogs, cats, bunnies, goats, guinea pigs and even a duck– walked, played, ate and left a few accidents on Pet Perfect products. For the past 11 years, Shaw has proudly donated all the flooring used in the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Dream Home Giveaway, a program that builds over 40 homes across the country and raises $57 million annually. St. Jude celebrates the home builds with a floor signing ceremony. Pictured here are COREtec Floors territory managers, J.R. Shaw associates have been giving back to communities across the country during the United Way Spring Into Service campaign. Since the campaign launched in April, associates have mentored students, cleaned roadsides, improved youth and community spaces, packed food boxes for those in need, built gardens and sorted donations. Healthy communities are key to our vision of creating a better future, and we are proud of our associates' passion for strengthening their communities.

At Shaw, we strive to create a second life for materials that would otherwise be discarded as waste – whether that’s our own products or the use of another industry’s waste. One example: plastic drinking bottles. The use of this recycled content in our products not only diverts materials from the landfill but helps reduce their carbon footprint.
