Dale Hollow Lake Explorer now available
Dale Hollow Lake Marina Association has announced its 10th annual edition of the Dale Hollow Lake Explorer Visitors Guide is now available.
“With millions of visitors each year, it is fitting that there should be a magazine that highlights the lake, families, sports, and the love people have for this beautiful destination,” said Richard Devries, President of Dale Hollow Lake Marina Association.
“There are many people who provide products and services to all those that enjoy Dale Hollow Lake. Dale Hollow Lake Marina Association is proud to be providing this informational piece for the past 10 years and is looking forward to continuing this product for tourism for years to come.”
This free resource is full of stories, history, facts, and information that supports family-friendly outdoor activities, whether it’s a staycation for locals or for visitors who want to plan a new adventure in Clay, Pickett, or Overton counties in Tennessee, and Cumberland and Clinton counties in Kentucky.
Each year Dale Hollow Lake Marina Association provides $4,500 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors, with a second scholarship to graduating seniors on the fishing team, to Cumblerand County, KY, Clinton County, KY, Clay County, TN, Pickett County, TN, and Overton County, TN.
Printed copies of the free 2024 guide are now available plus a digital version is available as well at https://online.fliphtml5.com/lpgcs/yttv/. The guide will feature articles on Facebook at Dale Hollow Lake Marina Association.
Darren Oliver, publisher/owner of Overton County News, a division of Oliver Media LLC, said, “This annual project is very important to me and close to my heart. I grew up on Dale Hollow Lake and still enjoy it to this day and look forward to enjoying it more in the future. I’m very proud to be a part of this magazine each year. With the help of talented writers, designers, sales, and printers we are able to share a beautiful piece about a place we all love dearly, Dale Hollow Lake.”
The yearly guide is made possible through Dale Hollow Lake Marina Association and many local businesses and organizations featured in the magazine.
Dale Hollow Lake Marina Association has been promoting Dale Hollow Lake since it was created in 1943.
According to Devries, the nonprofit Association is comprised of participating marinas who collaborate and work together to ensure that all locals and visitors to our amazing home have the best possible experience.
“Dale Hollow Lake isn’t simply a job for us, it’s a tradition and a lifestyle,” Devries stated. “Our goal is to help make your experience fun, safe, and memorable. While we serve you, we also spend our free time fishing, boating, camping, and enjoying lake life in our own backyard.”
Overton County News orchestrated the content, design, printing, advertising sales, and billing on behalf of Dale Hollow Lake Marina Association. This year, 20,000 copies will be distributed, plus a digital version can be seen on https://online.fliphtml5.com/lpgcs/yttv/.
