Big win at Rosecrans Raceway Sept 70. I have to look at the page with results cuz I don’t remember whether it was an LA USRA or Car Model race. I did win the Car Model Series that year. Brass and wire car I built in Ken McDowell’s basement during the epic Rambler trip to the Parma NCC race.

At the recent 2nd annual Mid-South Retro Classic, CbH had some stellar results.

In Stock Car Felix Mueller came home in 1st place in a hotly contested race. Felix ran a CbH “Taxi”.

In Coupe CbH saw Tony Powell finishing in 2nd place and Felix Mueller in 3rd. Tony ran a straight 8 while Felix ran a split 10.

In F1 Charles Eldridge won with Tony Powell in 3rd. Both ran CbH straight 8 F1s.

Final race of the event was CanAm with Tony Powell in 2nd and Gary Donahoe in 3rd. Tony ran a split 10 and Gary ran a straight 8.

So that’s 2 wins and 7 podiums across the 4 classes giving a better than 50% “ “podium hogging”.

Congratulations to all the podium finishers and the others who chose to run CbH.

A fun couple of days at Duffy’s Retro Race. Between Howie and I, CbH had three TQs, one win, one 2nd and one 3rd. Of course all are Howie Ursaner's except for my one TQ.
