The winning enduro car from Australia. The race was a 12 hour enduro with retro CanAm and LMPs running for 6 hours each at Show Us Your Slots.
Wayne and Cody Bramble and Aaron Campbell running as Team Oz, Aaron being the car owner, and proceeded to serve up a butt kicking by winning in CanAm by over two hundred laps!

The chassis? One of CbH’s mainstays- an 8r.

Well, its that time again, time to add a few more successes.

Out in California at the recent Cukras/Zimmerman Festival of Speed Bryan Warmack finished 3rd in the IRRA stock car race.
In coupe CbH was the chosen chassis for Brian Ambrose for his win and Dennis Dominey 3rd place. Both used 12r chassis.
In F1 Brian Ambrose was loaned a CbH F8rS, 8 rail split, by track owner Rich Carnutte and won going away.

The following weekend at Speedzone NJ, Bill Gerhart took top qualifier and won a very closely fought CanAm race. Bill was running a CbH 10rS, ten rail split CanAm

This put CbH 3rd in the constructor class. I feel this is pretty good due to not having a single racer running the whole series. My lack of being a local builder doesn’t help.

A big shout out to all the racers choosing CbH as their chassis of choice!!

Well, I’ve never done this before, split a bushing in half! This goes with the broken rim malfunction. Surprisingly, the gear is perfect and the chassis appears unfazed.

At the recent retro race at Duffy’s in Colorado, CbH garnered 6 of 9 podium positions on offer.

Starting off the day with stock cars, CbH had John Barvik in 2nd and Marc Saba in 3rd. Both were using the CbH “Taxi”, one of the most competitive stock car chassis anywhere.

In F1 CbH had John Barvik in 2nd and Marc Saba taking 3rd. Both were running F8r F1chassis.

In CanAm Alan Wilkinson takes the win with Marc Saba in 2nd for Marc’s 3rd podium of the day.

CbH chassis offer features found nowhere else, the little things that add up to the competitive advantage.

Another good day at the Checkpoint Cup!

Chance, Garret, and Dale qualified 1st 2nd and 3rd then go on to finish in reverse order. All were rac’n a CbH split rail F1.

Another great weekend for CbH!!

Bryan Warmack finishes 2nd in F1 and notches his 1st win the IRRA stock car race with his Taxi at the Boola Bash hosted by Piranha Raceway.

What’s really special is waaay back in 1968 I built my 1st angle winder in Bryan’s workshop, his bedroom at his parents house. I went on to win the very 1st Western States Amateur Race at Checkered Flag Raceway with that car.

I had attended the 1st USRA amateur race at Don’s Raceway as my 1st race out of Orange County a few weeks earlier. I and my fellow “Our Gang Racing” members had gotten some good press from Mike Morrisey’s enduro race reports. So at the suggestion of both Bryan and Doug Henline I made my 1st few appearances in LA county races.

Its an incredible honor having Bryan, a fantastic craftsman, racing my chassis now all these many years later.

Thank you Bryan, and all the others who have chosen CbH!

A quick update during my Fall Brawl prep…….

New England Retro Racing is off to another season with two race events in the books. Maxwell Whitlock is currently tied for 1st place in the season points. He won F1 with a very beat up CbH split rail F1, plus a 3rd in coupe running a CbH 12r chassis.

Keith Libby made a rare appearance at Speedzone, garnering a TQ and winning the CanAm race with a 12r while TQ and finishing 3rd in Stock car. While leading the SC race, the rear of the body was sucked into the rear wheels causing at least a 5 lap delay. Keith recovered and pulled into 3rd.

Meanwhile, down in Florida, Danny Zona takes a TQ and the win in an F1 race using a CbH spilt rail F1 chassis. Brandon Edan (aka John Smith on fb) picked up a couple of TQs and a 2nd and a 3Ird in Ca and Coupe finishes.

Over on the left coast down at Piranha Raceway, Dale Yamash*ta picked up a 2nd on the King after a 2nd in qualifying running yet another 12r, while winning on the flat track with a 10s split rail.

Fall is shaping up to be a very busy season for CbH chassis all across the USA. Currently doing the full on thrash preparing for another assault on the Fall Brawl at Speedzone NJ.

Sharing some successes from the recent Duffy’s Retro Challenge CbH.

Stock Car had John Barvits TQ with the podium filled with an al CbH cast! Howie Ursaner 1st, John 2nd, and Matt Sheldon 3rd, Marc Saba 4th.

In coupe Marc Saba placed 2nd. No pro?am division at this race.

F1 had Howie Ursaner tq but he died in the race. Marc Saba again taking down another 2nd place.

Can Am had Marc Saba TQ who then suffered some derangement in the race. Howie Ursaner finished 2nd.

The last few weeks have been somewhat eventful for CbH. A couple weeks ago Brandon Eden picked an another couple of wins down in GRRR country while Keith Libby won both CanAm and Coupe classes at the Retro East Summer Clash at Speedzone.

This past weekend we saw a couple familiar racers on podiums at the SCRRA Western States Retro Race at Piranha Raceway- Alex Freund won both the Stock Car race and the F1 race on their King track with Bryan Warmack placing 3rd in both classes. This marks the 2nd SCRRA premier race in a row that Alex has won using CbH chassis. SCRRA is now using the IRRA rule set for the stock cars inside of their previous rules which allowed anglewinders.

I need to announce that in August and September chassis deliveries will be spotty. The production crew will be receiving new support structure propping up the production line….

Translation- I’m getting a new knee and I’m not sure how impacted I’ll be.

Yesterday, 6/17, saw 4 podiums over two classes at Seagulls Raceway down under.
In the pro class had Ian Baker 1st, Phil Minkie 2nd. In the amateur class had Daryl Klein 2nd, and Ross McAndrew 3rd.
Qualifying had 5 of the top 7 running CbH chassis.

A little update on successes over the past few months.

Recently down in Florida Brandon Edan got a double win in the GRRR race, Stock Cars and F1.
Alex Freund won Stock Car, Felix Muller 3rd, and F1, Bryan Warmack 3rd, at the Cukras/Zimmerman Festival of Speed in Stock Car and F1. Bryan also won then flat track inline coupe event.

At Duffy's we had Marc Saba winning in Stock Car and F1 recently, with rumors of couple of podium sweeps for a couple of months, also in SC and F1.

Back at Piranha's monthly races we've had Dale Yamash*ta, Bryan Warmack, and Rick Linn all winning and top 3s. Rick hadn't raced flat track in awhile, dusted off his 5 year old F1 and proceeded to show the way to the checker flag.

Keith Libby, the primary racer for CbH has slowly been recovering from some health issues forcing him to miss out on over half Retro East 16th season races. When he did appear, he was typically in the hunt for top honors, achieving several TQs and wins. He managed to place 3rd in coupe for the season, while CbH placed 3rd in the Constructors class (not being a local chassis builder there is challenging) .

Up in the NERR there has been a lot of Interest in CbH with many of their top racers and up and comers choosing CbH. Dave Gesner, Max, Jordon, etc. just to name drop a few.

Sorry if I missed some others, I don't see all the race reports cuz I'm usually too busy building chassis.

On the building front, almost every piece of the Taxi and F1 chassis are now Laser cut, giving me more time to assemble competitive chassis, less time cutting brass. Anything new on the horizon you may ask.... Maybe, Maybe not.

Another news flash!!

Alex Freund wins the F1 class and Bryan Warmack 3rd at the Cukras/Zimmerman Festival of Speed utilizesing CbH chassis!!

Alex was top qualifier while Bryan qualified p6.

Alex had another super fast car and drove a masterful race. Bryan, while not as fast, drove a very steady race to 3rd.
