It's January 2021 and we're back on the road for "Friday Fun-Day!"
Who cares if we often see the same views - not us!!
Zion National Park had just a skiff of snow at the top and Coral Pink Sand Dunes, with it's dried up sunflower clumps, were sunny and warm!! Awesome start to another year of enjoying God's beautiful creations! 😎

What a wonderful world!! Despite all the things that aren't great happening in the world right now - God's creations never cease to delight and amaze us! So grateful we have the opportunity to revel in the outdoors so often!!

Seems like there's a lot of water in this high desert world!! We love it! Navajo Lake! Picnic at Panguitch Lake! And lots & lots of lava! Can you see the one little green tree? Nature is amazing!!

Don't know if it's true in your part of the world or not, but here, where people come to vacation and see so many amazing things, we are seeing much more traffic and people everywhere! ALL the time!! Can't say as I blame them but .... we sure were spoiled!! Our Friday Fun-day's might need a new angle!?!
Just did a short loop for an Anniversary drive up through Zion , Mt. Carmel & Kanab! We love getting out anywhere!! 😎

St. George doesn't really get a lot of fall colors, well not until later in November anyway. So we went looking for the variety of hues that bring on the changes of fall, pumpkins and crisp morning air!! Found it at Duck Creek Reservoir! Happy Fall Y'all!🍂🌞🍁

For the past few Friday's their has been much heavier traffic so today we stayed closer to home. The road to the ghost town of Grafton, UT is off the quaint main street of Rockville this side of ZNP. When it's going to be 110 again, you head for the hills! Or perhaps canyon?? We chose the North Rim of the Grand Canyon actually!! Where it topped off at 85 under perfectly blue skies though the canyon was a little hazy!! ☀️ Instead of going on the road to the Lodge, our day was spent out at the view points - namely Roosevelt Point, Cape Final & Cape Royal (where you can walk out over Angels Window). Bonus - Very few folks out enjoying the cooler temps & the majestic views!! 😎

Our "Friday-Fun Day" couldn't come soon enough to go searching for water and cooler temps! We've been in triple digit heat for six weeks straight with more to come!!
Started off in Yankee Canyon where we found water but not much cooler weather. Ended up at Cedar Breaks and a crisp, breezy 75!
Life is good! 😎

After a great picnic lunch, we laid back and watched the fishing going on at the Pine Valley Reservoir! Very entertaining! 😎 And 85 with a cool breeze! ☀️

Our trek today took us up the Kolob Terrace Road to see the reservoir, have a picnic lunch and be in 20 degree cooler temps!! 😎 Happy Friday!!

Today's "Friday-Fun-Day" adventure was filled with water sightings!! Navajo Lake, lunch spot on the Asay Creek and a private reservoir off the Alton turnoff as well as a little small town humor! 😎 Hope your Friday has been a fun one!!

St. George Marathon 2015! Had fun volunteering this morning and meeting some of the incredible people!
