It’s a Blizzard out there for most of the United States. Even Orlando is feeling the effects with only a high of 50 today. But come summer time, the Blizzard is where I want to be. Blizzard Beach that is. This is Disneys imagination at its finest. A freak snowstorm hit Orlando many years ago and led to the development of Floridas first ski resort. Slalom courses, bobsled and toboggan runs have transformed into water slides for all to enjoy. The creek that melted in the hot Florida sun has been converted into a relaxing tube ride. They even left the chair lift in place to carry guests up to the top of Mount Gushmore.
This is one of the two fun themed water parks offered at Disney and can be included in your ticket if you add the water park and sports option.
