We are fostering the sweetest grandpa husky! He has been to the vet and the groomer. Harley was found in the street and then spent a lot of time at a shelter before rescued him!

He is only with us for a couple weeks but he needs a longer term foster or a forever family!

Several fires all around us, but we have been safe.

We lost power last night but it had been restored.

Winds got up to 83 mph which is a category 1 hurricane. Our trees were not built for this weather.

Thousand and thousands of acres have burned and so many houses lost.

It might be a good time to mention that the Los Angeles fire department took a huge budget cut this year.

Just so scary - hoping the winds continue to calm and the fires can be contained.

Listen - we all have someone we need to play a learning game with. The game is called "Which one is AI?" We can play this game with images and videos. Make it a fun game, like how we do with children. Kids learn very important life skills with games all the time - some of us continue to need that beyond childhood.

My son showed me a crazy video he saw of an 'actual event'. It was not an actual event, but it had been shared millions of times.

It is such an effective propaganda tool... anyways, you know you needs this skill - play the game. I think like, democracy might depend on it.

Today we honor the brave men and women, some who lost their lives as a result - defending the capitol against terrorists. I will never forget hearing testimony of police officers who were there that day that heard "Kill him with his own gun" and "hang Mike Pence".... many of the terrorists that did these unspeakable acts have not been held accountable, many have been promised pardons by the man who encouraged this insurrection.

I remember that first there was denial of who called for this and who participated. I remember how that evolved to proud admittance. Proud of beating police, threatening those in office, vandalizing our Capitol... I don't understand.

I don't know what to say, but I am worried.

America, America, God shed his grace on thee.....
and crown thy good with brotherhood, from sea to shining sea.

Today we remember the brave men and women that put their lives on the line to defend our Democracy from the violent domestic terrorists which attacked the US Capital on January 6, 2021.

Our condolences to the families and friends of the five officers whose deaths are attributed to the terrorist attack on January 6th.

2025 is the year of spending the least amount of dollars and keeping the bar low.

We went to in Pasadena today! For a couple days after the tournament of roses parade the floats are on display. You can get so close you can smell the roses!

Obviously the float was a fan favorite!
