Day 2 of our cruise on Utopia of the Seas started bright and early at Royal Caribbean’s private island, CocoCay! We enjoyed our breakfast before heading ashore for some time at the pirate ship water playground, the beach, and the kids’ water slides. We got lunch on the island (included in your cruise fare- the whole island is basically an extension of the ship) before heading back on board for some rest time. We had dinner in the main dining room again and then the girls got to stay up late for the water show, Aqua80too, which was phenomenal! I wish I had more photos of it, but I was too caught up in watching!

You’ll notice a photo of Parker, my toddler, and my husband walking into the dining room with one of the dining staff. I have to brag on all of them- everyone was so accommodating to the needs of a tired toddler that didn’t want to sit still to eat! As my husband and I took turns walking him around the lobby/hallway, our servers made sure to cover our food to keep it warm until we returned. They offered anything they could think of to bring for Parker to eat (he’s not picky, just moody!) and had fruit ready for the kids as soon as we arrived each night. The staff in the lobby was friendly to him and helped keep him entertained. Overall the staff (not just the dining room, but the ship as a whole) was very welcoming of children and helped to make their vacation experience wonderful too!

It’s been a month since our amazing cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas and we are definitely ready to go back!

Here’s a little recap of day 1 (boarding day)! We enjoyed a seafood buffet, checked out the kids’ club, rode the carousel, explored around the ship, and had dinner in the main dining room.

Who am I and what do I do?

I'm excited to share a little of my story with you. If you've known me for a long time, you know I'm passionate about all things Disney and can spend all day talking about it! I visited Disney World several times as a child, but it was in high school that I fell in love. My high school choir travel to Disney World each December to sing in Epcot’s Candlelight Processional. Those memories have stayed with me for years and fueled the “Disney Freak” I am today. In April 2014, I was given the opportunity of a lifetime- to turn my passion into a career! I quickly finished my training and begin planning vacations for friends and family, and have loved every minute of it. As a Vacation Planner specializing in Disney destinations, I research, book, and plan the details of my clients' vacations, at NO COST to them! That's right, its completely free to work with me on planning a Magical Vacation for your family! “How is it free?” you might ask, “Surely there’s a catch.” Well, I’m happy to say that no, there’s no catch! Disney (as well as other suppliers like Universal Orlando, Sandals Resorts, cruise lines, etc.) build a travel agent’s commission into every package they sell.
