WE CANNOT BE MORE PROUD!

To announce our partnership with the Hocking Valley Senic Railway. This afternoon we issued a press release that will make national news in the bourbon industry and thus bring national attention to Nelsonville Ohio.

Our partner has delivered the first boxcar to the siding and at 11:00 am tomorrow the public is welcome to come watch the loading of our first barrels into our Rolling Rickhouse. No Distillery in bourbon history has stored for maturation, barrels into train boxcars. Special thanks to the railway crew and our muralist in turning an old rusty train car into a work of art.

New Year’s Eve Train tickets going fast! This incredibly popular event is back again departing at 10:30 p.m. Choose to ride in either a wine and cheese car or a pop and pizza car. We will stop around midnight for a spectacular fireworks display. Tickets at hvsry.org!

Our Halloween Train is almost here! 👻👻👻Ride our train as it gets dark in the historic Hocking Valley, and wear your best costume (must be appropriate for all ages). A few of our volunteers may also be dressed up. After the ride, pick up some candy at the Depot and explore our haunted train car.

This Saturday at Uncle Buck's Riding Stable and Dance Barn and The Lady Buck Saloon.

Two of the very best local southeastern ohio bands and a great local solo artist will be rocking the stage at Uncle Buck's. The show will open at 6:00 with Dale Siggler followed by Medicine Hat and close with Without Papers. You'll hear everything from classic rock to original rock.

After receiving your registration, I will send a confirmation. After the confirmation, you can sign the online waiver.
I do not take pre-registrations for any week other than the one listed here!

I will be offering a night hike and ghost hunt at Moonville Tunnel on Saturday evening September 14, 2024, telling local ghost stories, followed by a ghost hunt at the famous and haunted tunnel. I will be walking an out-and-back section of the Moonville Rail Trail, and those interested can hike with me from Moonville town proper to Ingham Station/Bear Hollow.
The hike and ghost hunt will take about 2 hours. It takes about 30-40 minutes to hike one way at a leisurely pace. However, we move steadily with a few short stops to hear the old folklore and local ghost stories, so it may be too challenging for those with health issues, breathing problems, walking difficulties, or who are out of shape.
The hike is free. It is a little over 1.5 miles one-way, a total of 3.0 miles on a flat gravel railroad bed. Each participant must sign an online waiver to attend; there are no exceptions. If you do not get notice, you are not registered. If you cannot attend, please let me know so your spot can be refilled!
