During your Up The Keys Nature Tour, you’ll learn the history, culture, and ecology of the Florida Keys, listen to island music, & enjoy the breathtaking scenery! Your excursion begins with a stop at the National Key Deer Refuge, a home for the endangered Key Deer that are indigenous to the Florida Keys. On your Key Deer Safari, we will look for the deer and photograph them. As most of these Key Deer have become accustomed to human interaction, they will often walk right up to our guests! After spending some time with these adorable creatures on your safari, your tour guide will also take you to see the Blue Hole where you will be able to spot local wildlife such as alligators, a variety of fish, turtles and more. The last stop on your Florida Keys journey is at the Bahia Honda State Park where you can dip your toes in both the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean! Our Florida Keys nature tour promises an engaging road trip style excursion filled with interesting wildlife, stunning views, great island music, and good times!

We drive you from island-to-island on the iconic Overseas Highway, about 35 miles from Key West & over 22 bridges.

Who’s in line right now to buy Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Re**ers tickets for the two extra shows he added in Key West?

Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Re**er Band announced two additional Key West shows on their Second Wind Tour.

Two more shows are scheduled at the Key West Theater – at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4 and Monday, Feb. 6.

HEADS UP! Tickets on sale Friday, Feb. 3, (TODAY) at noon.

Missing Key West tortoise missing found close to home

KEY WEST: A local tortoise who went missing for three weeks has been safely returned to his family.
Earl, a 50-pound pet tortoise, was located about a block from his home on Monday.
A neighborhood dog, Rocky, gets the credit for the save.
While poolside Monday with his dog sitter, Jordan Upchurch, Rocky started barking like a small lunatic.
"He gets aggressive and barks when he sees iguanas," Upchurch said Friday. "But I heard rustling and thought, maybe it's something else."
Upchurch went to investigate.
It was Earl. He was behind a fence, pawing at a gate as if he were trying to open it.
Upchurch immediately thought of a flier he had seen on the housing complex's mailboxes about a missing tortoise.
"He was huge," Upchurch said. "He was twice the size of my head."
And Earl is almost twice the size of Rocky, a mixed-breed who shares a home with another dog, Spikey (Who we like to think helped.)
Upchurch went to get the number on the missing sign and reached the family.
In short order, a father and son arrived in a golf cart.
"Earl" they called out when they saw the tortoise.
Upchurch lifted the tortoise and lugged him to the road where Earl was reunited with his people, who placed him in the back of the golf cart to carry him home.
