Queen Mary 2 ship tour today was amazing. This Queen is 20 yrs old, but refurbished last October. She is a beauty!
Among many of her unique traits and specialties are:
A Planetarium,
The largest library at sea,
Dog kennels (24) for transatlantic sailings only
Brand new carpet throughout the entire ship,
Found some secret cabins!
And so much more.

What did I learn this week on the Cunard sailing this past week? SO much.
We had a lovely time, enjoyed an amazing itinerary, outstanding meals, quiet ship, wonderful room, and incredible service.
For my overall impressions:
Firstly, this classic cruise line is like stepping back in time in a way. The dress code is more formal than any other line on the high seas and you have options, but not if staying in a Suite. The
Suite Grills restaurant is Amazing in its quality, service, formality and overall ambiance. You have a reserved table ONLY for you every meal, and a private lounge and deck space for Suite guests. No crowding, no waiting, and quiet.
Secondly, the guests on board are primarily British nationals, 2nd only to Aussies, Asian Pacific and then a sprinkling of US citizens. Anglophiles unite!
There was a guest speaker on board one afternoon who was a BBC news presenter in the 1970-80's!
Thirdly, the entertainment is for seniors: ballroom dancing, high tea in the afternoon and a formal beautiful theater for some evening performances like https://www.facebook.com/cameorascale from Australia (juggling duo). Very interesting but no Broadway style shows here. There is a Kids and Teen private room space, some families on board, but mostly retired seniors.
Lastly, every cruise line has its target audience and Cunard is not exempt. We met many interesting and wonderful guests on board and would highly recommend Cunard to the right traveler. The typical Cunard passenger is loyal and appreciates the traditional experience.

Only order 1 item off the menu though because the portions are HUGE. Not many sit down spots in the market and mostly a walk through open air market of food, spices, nuts, cheese, wine. It’s all wonderful

Travel Tip-WCs are in the back, 1 floor down and 1€ coin required. Won’t find these anywhere else in La Ramblas! Keep your purchase receipt for free use. 🤗

The best restaurants have no menu shown outside, tiny sign but a known reputation. The food, service and atmosphere speak for itself.

Yes Rome is crowded and touristy, but so much better at night. Quieter than daytime, less crowds and lines, lit up and a totally different view and visibility on the ruins and preservation projects.
“What have the Romans done for us?” So, so much and worth preserving.

Bon Voyage Atlas Ocean Voyages!
I currently have a customer on this ship right now. Sailing under the Tower Bridge in London after 1 night docked on the Thames river. There are VERY few yachts or ships that can even sail down the Thames, much less dock.

Inside look on the Icon of The seas. Amazing all the backend work on any cruise ship. Highway 95 under the water level runs the length of the entire ship where everything takes place to ensure success, aside from the captains deck of course.
